Allegiant Air - Great airline for the price! The staff was very accommodating and professional.

Sure they try to up sell. However, if you aren't a few fries short of a happy meal; they prices are clearly marked with the services provided.

Remember Allegiant Air is a discount airline. Even if you chose all there services they are cheaper then anybody else. So quick yackin about a $15 seat charge or baggage fee... Unchecked the seat selection box and pack more conservatively.

The ones that always complain are the people who expect everything to be handed to them. Go spend $600 on the same ...

On the plus side, Allegiant flies directly from Phoenix/Mesa (AZA), and provided that you book far enough in advance, you can find a screaming deal. In-flight staff is generally pleasant, and pilots usually assure a smooth flight/TO-Landings.

On the negative side, the customer service can be appalling! It is virtually impossible to actually get a representative on the phone. The strict two-hour check-in requirement does not seem to be an issue in Phoenix/Mesa, but I have witnessed dozens of ...

greensboro to st. pete and back. 6/2009, plane was late both ways, they charge for everything so they are not so low cost and have limited flights so you have to fly on their schedule. we booked flight and rental car and were surprised when we found out allegiant did not charge the tax for the rental car during booking. this was not alamo's fault and they have recieved many compliants from allegiant customers. we could have flown another airline, arrived earlier, not been charged for a soda ...

I arrived at the airport 1 hour prior to departure and there was no one at the Allegiant Air ticket counter to check us in. The agent was paged by other airline agents and even by the airport intercom. No one ever came out to check us in until after the plane had departed. I tried contacting them on the phone, was on hold for 30 minutes and no one ever answered. I don't recommend it. The cheap fares are not worth it. I end up buy a ticket with Southwest airline and had to eat the cost of t ...

We have had several horrible experiences with Allegiant. Every single time we have flown with them our flights have been substantially delayed. Our first flight out of GSP airport was 12 hours delayed. The agents were friendly, but the Allegiant Air Corporate offices are incompetent. On the return trip, our flight was 4 hours delayed. If you want a second-class airline then choose Allegiant Air!

I have only had my luggage lost one other time in my life and that was in California with SW airlines. They delivered the luggage to my hotel within 8 hours. That was great customer service!!

Bellingham to Vegas and back. Flights were over an hour late in both directions. On the way back we checked in and were never informed of the lateness, and the airport monitors indicated that the flight was departing on time. 45m before the flight was to depart we were informed on the PA that the inbound aircraft was 1hr late leaving Bellingham due to a late departure from Vegas earlier that day, and that we'd be an hour late leaving as a result. I went to the gate desk and asked why they did ...

We flew from Des Moines, Ia to Las Vegas non stop flight and some how one piece of our luggage got lost. Now this was a non stop flight. We filled the paper work out at Las Vegas and 5 days later still no luggage. The flight the people that work for them are rude and not helpful at all. Once back to Des Moines we asked them for a log on the tracking on the luggage. Guess what they manually track their luggage. So they really couldn't tell us. Then we where told by someone in the corporate offic ...

If I have any choice what so ever, any choice, I will always pick a differenct airline. I am convinced Allegiant Airlines will soon charge passengers for breathing oxygen!

Allegiant Airlines -- a cheap outfit!

First time flying this airline. Flew from Vegas to Redmond, OR. The flight from Vegas was fine. The flight back was a nightmare. Redmond, OR is a tiny airport. Allegiant Air was the only plane there and some how we were delayed for an hour and a half.
Anyways, so I ended up missing my flight from Vegas to LA on another airline and had to pay beyond retail price for a flight back home. And instead of being home at 8pm, I got back at 1:00am. Thanks Allegiant.

We fly from ALLENTOWN to ORLANDO/SANFORD once every three months with Allegiant Air. We love this airline. Cheap and fast. We always arrive early and only had one flight that was delayed because of weather.

I was overwhelmed by the great service, polite attendants, flight crew and cleanliness of the aircraft. I can not recommend this airline enough, beats Lufthansa (German Airlines) American, Delta regarding service and cleanliness.

Allegiant Air is very cost efficient but you better be there at LEAST 2 hours in advanced because they do not staff like they should. I was one of the 30 people who got left at Huntsville, Alabama airport because they decided they did not want to hold the airplane for the 30 people who were left. One lady was all that was checking 150 people in during a 2 hour period and they still decided not to hold the airplane even though most of us had been there at least 1 hour ahead of time. The plane too ...

At first we were told that the flight would be 1 hour late. Approximately hour later, we were informed it was going to be at least 2 hours late. We sat in the restaurant waiting. Once again, an employee informed us that it would be at least 3 hours late, that the plane had not left Las Vegas. We asked, why? The employee did not know why. The employee stated he did not work for Allegiant Air, that he was an employee for Encore. The Encore employee gave us Allegiant Air cards to call to g ...

Be aware that they charge $10 per checked bag. $11 each segment for picking seat in advance. We arrived 2 hrs early and didn't pay the $11 for assigned seats and the ticket agent got us seats together- 2 of us. On both flights! We area traveling with our 3 children this summer and decide to pay the extra to ensure we sit with them. Even with the extra fees we got a great deal.
Don't expect any snacks or entertainment - take your own. For the price I can't complain at all.

My wife was flying from Stockdon,Ca to Las Vegas and then to Cedar Rapids,Ia. The plane from Stockdon was 3hr late leaving. She wanted to get off because the flight from Las Vegas to IA had left. She was told by the Supervisor in Stockdon that the plane she was on was the one going to IA. When she got to Las Vegas, not only had the plane left but she lost out on the cost of the ticket because she did not make the flight to IA. She also is going to lose out on the tickets back. I can say for a fa ...

Allegiant is one of the better airlines that I have seen, when you call their reservations line, even though you have to hold awhile, you still end up talking to a REAL person, and not something automated. Safety is their first concern, if there is even something in question about safety, they have it looked at and signed off before flying

I just want to scream right now at Allegiant Air. Thanks for letting me vent. How is it that you call their number which is NOT a 1-800 number and then they cut you off because their call volume is too high at the moment. Do they not want business???? Oh, and by the way I am trying to contact them to get a letter of proof for a flight that was cancelled so I can make a claim to my credit card company to get some of my money back.

On Jan. 24th and 27th 2008 flew from Eugene OR to Las Vegas and back. Had a all male flight crew on the way to LV , all of whom were very friendly and quick to help anyway they could to make flight more enjoyable by all. Now the flight back to Eugene was a different story. To start the flight was boarded 1/2 hour late with no explanation. Then when we were board and preparing for take off the one stewardess was quite snippy about people making sure that they had the carry on's that were not in t ...
