“Fantastic, moving, fantasy.”

★★★★★

written by brakenoodle on 20/12/2012

I can only agree with the rave reviews here, but here's a tip: the special edition extended version is worth getting and contains four DVD discs. With much more content in the film including deleted scenes and two whole DVD discs of extras, the making of, interviews etc. This is the one to get. Excellent.

“The most Spectacular movie I've ever watched!!!”

★★★★★

written by saintgileshighgate on 02/11/2011

The first time I watched film, I was fascinated. The CGs are realistic. Especially the scene of bettle, which is Spectaculor and immense. But if you haven't watched 1&2 of LOR, you can't understand the story. Because the story is complicated. Maybe if you don't like long-length movies, It will make you bored. But I think it's the one of the best movies!!! Highly Recommended!!!

“As to be expected, the third part of Peter Jackson's...”

★★★★★

written by Taylott on 25/06/2010

As to be expected, the third part of Peter Jackson's epic trilogy delivers everything we have been led to expect: stunning battle sequences, glorious scenery, jaw-dropping special effects and wonderful performances.

Majestic, moving and immense, The Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King in my opinion is about as awesome as cinema gets.

As you can tell I'm a massive Lord of the Rings fan (as most people are), and if you haven't watched any of these movies, I suggest hiring or buying the box-set, and settling in for the weekend. Once you've watched the first one, you'll be itching to get the second and third one into the DVD player!

“I watched it for free at freemoovie.com ”

★★★★★

I watched it for free at freemoovie.com
It was effing brilliant.
Pardon my French.
Pardon my racism.
Pardon my list of three.
So basically the movie was quite good because it incorporated fairytale action adventure and dialogue. That in my opinion is quite an achievement, for a person who can't even ride a bicycle.
I like aragorn cos he has a good sword and a trusty hand. Legolas is also a really coolarcher cos he is better than robin hood and cupid at the same time. I like Gandalf when he puts on his robe ands wizard hat. And the wringwraiths are really cool cos they kill loads of people.

Can one simply walk into Mordor?

The answer: nyes. Now I believe that this film has taken the action/adventure genre and transformed it into a reasonably good genre.

This film was a spectacular! It really gets your heart pumping! If you are a fan of action movies, watch this one! The Nazghul were the main eye of the film. The battle scene was an eyeopener. As I said, if you want something to wake you up, choose this film!
The film is generally one of the bestsellers of this decade!

All in all the Return Of The King was a mind blowing film with amazing special effects and breath taking scenes (not to mention the lovely Aragorn and Legolas). This is definitely the best of the three films with a touching stoyline however I would reccomend to anyone that has not seen the 2 previous films to watch them first as it is a fairly complex story.

“I loved The Return of the King, one of the best movies...”

★★★★★

written by freakyfriend on 20/04/2004

I loved The Return of the King, one of the best movies I've seen. I loved everything about it especially the final battle. The only thing I could say was wrong with it is that it's too long so if you hate long films and hate stayin in the cinema for too long then don't see it. Unless you're willing to sit through 3hrs and 40mins of film. Director Peter Jackson has done a great job with J.R.R Tolkiens Lord of the Rings Trilogy. If you want to see it, I think you need to see the first two if you haven't already to get the story.

“Lord Of The Rings - Return Of The King was excellent. ...”

★★★★★

written by Pennylane on 15/03/2004

Lord Of The Rings - Return Of The King was excellent. The stunning special effects really grabbed the audience especially Shelob and her lair. Frodo and Sam were excellent as was Andy Serkis as Gollum/Smeagol. The portrayal of one so enchanted with the rings was amazing. Frodo's sheer determination to terminate the ring and then his betrayal to the Fellowship by not destroying the ring was excellent beyond comparison. This, the final installment shows Frodo at his best.
The unfailable Sam who stood by his side all the time was excellent. He provide the small humour that there was in the moments of gloom and doom. He also shows his dedication to his master even when Frodo abandons him for Gollum.
The battle scence were amazing especially Pelannor Fields. The line of Rohirrim charging towards the servants of Sauron make for excellent viewing.
This is the best out of the three but they are all exceptional.

★★★★★

written by ijames on 19/01/2004

I loved the first two editions of Lord Of The Rings so was expecting a lot. It delevered more than I ever could have expected.

For the first 2 hours it doesn't stop. Non-stop brilliant action as the two stories unfold. The one being the protection of the city of the king the other being the journey of the ring and it's past.

The end does trail on a bit, which did put a downer on it a little, but it was concluding a trilogy.
