I bought this phone as a NEW product, it arrived open with the user guide having a huge tea stain on it. The phone didnt work either . I paid £7.99 for next day delivery by citylink but got nothing the next day until 4 days later! Thgeir customer service person tried to blame my line but I am currently using another phone and works perfectly on my BT line. Its a rip off and a waste of time. I would rather pay a lot more and buy directly from BT or other reputable shops. Beware!! DO NOT BUY from telephones online

I recently purchased the Philips SE6552 Twin cordless phones, but after waiting 2 weeks and a call to Telephonesonline they sent me the cheaper version, the Philips ID5552. Nothing like what I ordered, when my other half spoke to the sales guy he said "sorry for the delay, we had a problem with your order, so we took the liberty to send you an "upgraded" version". My other half pushed him and he admitted it was "out of stock", why didn't they tell us in the first place, we didn't mind waiting.

I bought a Sony VAIO VGC-LT2S Media Centre PC for about half original price around end May 2009. The first one they sent me had the wrong keyboard and without any fuss at all, arranged for next day pick up and sent out a new VGC-LT2S Media Centre that was perfect in everyway. I cannot fault this supplier at all, they were always so eager to help. Well done and my young son is delighted to have MY computer installed in his room. Initially I was very impressed with the Telephones Online service, fast delivery, easy to use website and their customer service....however the telephones I purchased stopped working after 6 month, the customer service was very helpful and after returning the phones I was sent a replacement immediately, this is when the problems started...the replacement phones did not work, the second handset was scratched, battered ...would not recommend.

I felt I had to add a review of Telephonesonline to balance the negative feedback. I recently bought a 'refurbished' HDD/DVD player from Telephones online. Prior to purchasing I phoned to query them about exactly what 'refurbished' meant and about their returns policy, their responses were courteous and helpful.
You can use Google Checkout or Paypal if you'd rather not give your credit card details.
I had initially ordered a 'silver' item but changed my mind and wanted 'black' - again I called ...

Rang up www.telephonesonline.co.uk this morning to order the phones and was told to buy online.

Bought online. They rang a bit later to say I had entered the postcode incorrectly - (one digit wrong, but the rest of the address was full and complete - so they could have found address). I missed the call so rang back approx 15 mins later.

They confirmed the postcode and delivery address and order, then about an hour later - emailed to say the order had been cancelled and the money refunded to ...

Bought a BT Zenith from the above company as the price seemed good. However delivery setup was poor as apparently the sender hadn't authorised Citylink to re-deliver. This meant I had to cancel plans for an evening and spend 1.5 hours in the round trip to the citylink depot and waiting for them to find the parcel.

When I commented on this I got a rude reply from customer services telling me to read the card properly next time. I replied with details of the options on the card and the respo ...

I was going to by a cordless phone from this company and completed my name and address details only to find that the delivery costs were £10, which I considered excessive as it could have been posted for a lot less.

I complained to Customer Services telling them the delivery costs were too high and they should be looking to provide alternative, cheaper methods for customers living in the Highlands & Islands. The reply I got just said that nobody else had complained about the deliv ...

The phones that I got from Telephones Online didn't work. They refunded the money.
They then took 3 weeks to refund the postage, despite their own terms and conditions saying they would do so.

E mails went unanswered. The phone was rarely answered.

I will never use them again or recommend them.

I used MutualPoints.com to my advantage, by utilising their link to Pricerunner to search for the BT Studio 1500 triple. There were many different online stores to choose from, with Telephones Online showing as the cheapest by a long way.
