Good Points: -excellent sound quality; -long wires for the rear speakers. -nice design (for who cares about it)
Bad Points: -read output not as loud as front output (could it be the sound driver, computer settings or the motherboard? don't know...)
General comments: I bought the Altec Lansing 151i system at somewhere between 50 to 60 euros at an offer in Carrefour (Romania). The audio quality is excellent given the size of my room, and despite my low interests for design where is not needed, i must admit that i like the look of the subwoofer (made of wood).
However, there might be a problem, which i don't know if concerns all the 5.1 audio systems, or just this one, or is mine only damaged: the rear speakers output doesn't sound as loud as the front speakers. Don't know if this has to do with the sound driver, the rear speakers are good, since i connected them to front output and vice versa, and got the same result: low volume for the speakers connected to rear output, at the same volume level set for all the speakers.
But, as i said in the beginning, the sound is excellent in a room like mine (about 6x4x2.5 meters), and my rating is based on that, even if i didn't tested it at max volume (neighbours :P).
