Good Points: Doesn't damage paintwork.
Bad Points: Cumbersome, bulky, harder to store or transport than a single bar.
General comments: I want the best of both worlds - in the 1980s I saw a telescopic single bar, easy to store and transport, which fitted a doorway without the irritating screws and brackets. It simply jammed tight into a doorway by screwing out until the rubber pads gripped each side through friction alone. Saw it used for a whole year, rock solid, totally safe if tight enough.

My Powerbar Pull Up Bar worked fine when I first tested it and was really pleased. Then I used it on another door frame and now i have holes in the wall above the door frame. Not ideal! So basically your walls may be strong enough to take it or they may not. I would not buy this again.

Easy to fit up on a door frame, got me doing 6 pull ups to 26 in a month or so, everyday things become simply easier to do... I broke my kettle when I lifted it up and bashed it against the cupboard above me.100% recommended! Definately worth the money!

Bought this for my lads. They love it.
The good thing is that it doesn't wreck your paintwork and can be stored away as opposed to a screwed-in piece of equipment.

Generally a great piece of kit. I couldn't do pullups at first so I ordered the powerbar with the tapershaper assistant and I couldn't be happier with my strength progression. I only workout at home and this kit combination is solid, takes up no space and is great value for money.

I really like the Powerbar Pull Up Bar, theres nothing special about it, its just a bar but its a great way to stay in shape. Its simple to put in and can be used pretty much anywhere. I really like using this, such a simple invention.

This pull up bar attatches to any door frame simply by slotting it on, it has no need for screws and the design means your weight is evenly distributed and so will do no damage to your door! Once off the door, you can use it for wide angle press ups or it fols flat for easy storage. This piece of kit is great as it's not just a chinning bar, with a combination of pull ups, chin ups and leg raises you can practice a wide range of exercises. It will not shake at all as you pull yourself up and has ...
