Good Points: My first digital camera, bought in 2001, I must have done 1500 pictures with it. Reliable, easy to use, just great.
Bad Points: Now that the market offers a lot more, it's become too bulky and heavy and slow. A piece of antique.
General comments: Get the Fuji Finepix 2200 if you cannot afford anything newer and more technologically advanced.

This was the first digital camera I purchaced back on Boxing day 2001. I have taken thousands of shots with this camera and most have been good.
What lets this camera down is the lack of zoom and it's tiny lens. If your only intrested in taking pictures of your mates or the famaily pets it's great. More that this and you need to think a bit bigger.

The Fuji Finepix 2200 was my first digital camera,i have had it for a couple of years now and have had plenty of use out of it,although i have recently bought myself a new fuji finepix camera(s5000) i will NOT be selling the 2200. The quality of pictures are excellent,very impressed with how easy it is to use,a nice size too.

This Fuji Finepix 2200 digital camera is just great. Good storage, good on power, it fits great in the hand, but for some reason mine keeps wrecking smart media cards, so get a card reader...

I use a power adapter for my Fuji Finepix 2200 digital camera that i bought for a fiver on 4.5v. Works fine. Great 4 indoors. Pity there is no movie facility. Good value at £170. Seems fujis product strategy is messed up-the 2400 finepix has movie capability webcam etc but lower megapixels than the 2200-very weird

The Fujifilm Finepix 2200 is my first digital camera, well I don't count the kodak palmpix on my palm pilot!!!
Picture quality is good and notwithstanding the good and bad points, excellent value at £150 on the Boxing Day sale in PC World.
Pity it can't be used as a web cam as it is a good size to take on business!

Having owned 3 other Fuji digital cameras, i though it was about time I got a higher mega pixel rated camera.
Very good images, high detail when using 1600*1200 in fine mode. Having being to fuji's website it seems this camera is there 2300 model just renamed for the two stores above (Currys and PC world).
all in all a good starter digital camera.
