Good Points: There is only one good point about this jacket - it identified all the Chav's which populated my local area.

    Bad Points: Not warm
    Not waterproof

General comments: This Naff Co 54 Jacket was argued at the time to be as warm as a North Face Fleece and to be as water resistant as a mountaineering Gortex Jacket made from simpetex. This jacket first hit the high street catwalks of doggy market around September 1990, taking advantage of the autumn and not too distant winter approaching on the horizon. The need to resemble pop idols of the 90's such as Kylie, Adamski, UB40, Sinead O'Connor was perhaps a governing influence on the mass purchase for these highly in demand Jackets. Darwin's theory of evolution was correctly applied in this case, as the Naff Co 54 Jacket wearing adolescents of the early 90's are now the proud parents of the Burberry wearing children of today, who you see hanging around shops, reading books, helping old people across the road and being ever so polite to the general public on buses, around town, outside kebab shops and in chippies. I feel that in the not too distant future we will be noticing Gucci wearing teenagers laid on the floor outside the local chippy saying 'I'm boshed....who...me!'
