Had terrible problems ordering some photo cards. First they sent me a box of leaflets for a dubious photographer. Several phone calls and e mails later I received an e mail offering a refund and a free replacement set of cards. Never got the refund. No cards for over two weeks.Paid £52 for the replacement cards so not free at all. Non existent customer service. Don't use them. I used Snapfish instead and had no problems at all. Vistaprint are great when it come to business cards, flyers, postcards etc. They are top quality and have an amazing array of designs to choose from, very happy with that but when it comes to web hosting, these guys are poor. I haven't had any problems with the quality of the products. But when then have items on sale they never are the amount that is advertised. The charge for the upload of my own design and postage. There is a problem on their side of the Internet order system. Ordered business cards that came with an incorrect telephone number, arrived one month after order. When I contacted their customer service department, they talked to me like I was an idiot, not knowing my own telephone number. I ordered wedding invitations, they came exactly on the date specified and were good quality (I paid slightly extra for 'linen' finish which is nicer). I did spend quite a lot of time amending the design to get it just as I wanted. Its true that the price advertised isn't exactly what you pay, the delivery is very expensive as well as VAT added at the end. 1. Misleading prices. Once you have gone through the very time-consuming process of designing and ordering you will find the actual price is ten times the original price you expected. 2. I ordered 2 photo books on 9th Dec. I see today they are due for delivery on 24th Dec . On checking the order it seems I 'selected' the 14 day delivery option. Mmmmm can't remember seeing that as an option. Will my offspring receive their souvenir of the Olympics in time for the date intended? Got my shipment today...calendars, a tshirt, mug, and keychains. My pictures were taken by a professional but the pictures on my items were very poor quality. Sure, I saved money ordering thru them but I used pictures of my daughters' 3 yr pics. I should've gone to a more professional place. I have been using Vistaprint for many years to print cards, calendars and more... but recently I had cause to complain about and issue where they were charging more than they said. I could not raise a complaint with them; they ignored emails; and their European staff who have rather poor English skills on the phone were just hopeless. I ordered a photo calendar the other day which was advertised for 5.99. In fact it ended up costing a lot more than that. After I'd taken the time to upload the photos and put the calendar together it then slapped on another 3.74 for the calendar it then charged me an upload fee and then a stupid amount for postage and packing - 6.99 for a three week delivery time! I have used vistaprint 3 times now for personalised business cards for my ebay business and am extremely happy with every aspect. I always opt for the cheapest shipping method, unless they have offers on (which they tend to do a lot for returning customers) My only negative comment is the price is a little high when uploading your own images for business cards, so I use their own templates. Everyone is complaining about the delivery costs... You're doing it wrong! I get emails from Vistaprint offering me free delivery around once a week. You have to spend over a certain amount but it is worth it. If you just want the 'Free' business cards, forget it. Use another site or buy a printer and print some yourself, it's cheaper. Used a amazon flyer to order a flip photo book. Ordered some sticky labels as well. Price was reasonable and promotional offer. Kept trying to check postage but no mention of prices till you go beyond the payment selection option. They charged a ridiculous amount for a small package and even though it was supposed to be 7 days max The package arrived on the 8th day. Great looking business cards and great looking website, but charged me for email marketing for the website, which I didn't request, I don't even know what it is. So far, it has taken 5 to 6 months since my initial complaint and I still don't know what the additional charge was, so my lovely website is suspended. Cheap, yes. Quality, no. My business cards were not cut straight and the colour quality was awful. I complained. They sent me an automated email saying I needed to send a picture. Sent a picture, nothing. Contacted them again, nothing. Completely ignored me. The cards were so bad I couldn't use them. Stay clear. I already had a layout which I converted into a format they could use but the method they have on their website for uploading/previewing needs improving as it's a multi-step process & you have to go backwards & forwards to figure out what the end result will look like. I received an e-mail for a 'free' printed t-shirt offer, which was quite useful as I needed one for an upcomimg stag do I was going on. On visiting the website the 'free' t-shirt turned out to be £3.50. However, even at that price I was fairly happy. I recieved an email offering a free wall calender from Vistaprint and spent hours uploading pictures. When I proceeded to the cart it started barting all these different offers. Then once I input my card details the price increased by a vast amount. At first it seems like a really good deal, very cheap for the actual product. When you go to checkout, it doubles instantly because they charge you extra to upload photos, then postage is extortionate, for VERY slow delivery, (£7.00 for 21 days).
