We stayed at fairways holiday park in the middle of september for 3 nights, its quite a small site but the staff were friendly enough, the caravan that we stayed in was clean and tidy, had plenty of space for the 5 of us and was well equipped.
The kids enjoyed the park which wasnt too far from the caravan so you could keep an eye on them and theres also an outdoor pool, which was quiet even though the weather was very warm.
Theres food served daily and theres lots to choose from and not too expensive. The entertainment in the evenings wasnt great as it was nearing the end of the season, there was bingo and some music on the first night and the other two nights we had the pub to ourselves so if you like it lively I would go before september.
Overall we liked it very much and would definately recommend it and would holiday there again.

We just returned from Fairway park, Sandown, I went with my mum and two children aged 6 and 3. We found the staff friendly and helpful. The caravan smelt of smoke a bit when we arrived but apart from that it was ok, it had the basics in there. We only went to the club house on our first evening and the entertainment seemed good. We had food from there to take away a couple of times and it was nice. Theres a room with some games in and two pence sliding machines which my six year old loved. ...

Have just returned from fairway Holiday Park. Will not b returning. We , myself and my partner and two children aged 11 and 1, we stayed in a 8 berth gold caravan. The carpet was dirty needed a going over with a carpet cleaner. Caravan was dated and extremely small. We hired a travel cot from fairways which when opened had bits of food in the bottom of it. We were all disappointed by the holiday. Especially by the amount of money it cost. Expected alot more.

We have just returned from Fairway and can say that we did enjoy it with only 1 real issue. Which was that the park and its facilities were open to non residents of the park/locals.

The caravan was clean and well supplied. They provided all of the usual kitchen necessities and the kettle was an old fashioned hob top whistler but this was expected as it was in the literature received on booking. Remember your matches though as you had to light the oven and grill yourself.

The park was clean a ...

Fairway Holiday Park is a small park but great for all ages, close to sandown rail station and bus stops outside park. Have been a number of times over the years and have felt we have had value for money each time.If you want entertainment all day on site this site is not for you, The site has a small outside pool which can get a bit crowded, a small play park and some great walks close by.

Stayed at the Fairway Holiday Park, Sandown, Isle of Wight in August 2008. On arrival found the staff friendly and helpful and the caravan we were staying in was clean, modern and well equipped. The evening entertainment was good, although a bit 70's and 80's, with bingo, karaoke, party dancing, and a different game on each night of the week and the bar was stocked with a good range of beers and drinks.

The food menu was a bit limited though, but the food arrived quickly and was hot and tast ...

My Family and I consisting of my wife and parents and my 2 children aged 10 and 7 visited fairways holiday park in mid July for a week. Mainly because of the family fun club and advertised children's entertainment. We paid 509 pounds for the week and another 75 pounds for the ferry. On arrival I was asked for my car registration which was parked at some distance away from the office, when I mentioned that they had them on record in order to book the ferry for me, I was told "rudely" that they did ...

I stayed at Fairway Holiday Park in May 2008, with three of my friends and their families. Whilst the Reception staff were very helpful and informative with my booking and the arrangement for my ferry travel, I found that the bar staff (one in particular) was extremely rude and unhelpful.
My booking was for a Platinum 6 berth caravan for 4 nights at a cost of £269 plus ferry costs. On arriving at the camp and checking in I was directed to my 'Platinum' caravan and provided with a map of t ...

Great little site for families. Well maintained, very good entertainment from a small band of staff, close to station and sandown beach. Will come back again.

Fairway holiday park is about a 20 minute walk from Sandown beach, however we found that this walk is extremely tiring up and down hills so we only did it once and took the cars down to the beach the rest of the week as the parking is reasonably priced and easy to find spaces.
The holiday park itself has a range of caravans to choose from, these including 4, 6 or 8 berth caravans in various star ratings each with differing prices. The pricing not only depends on the caravan you choose it also ...
