    Bad Points: I dont have one any longer, change of jobs ment change of car, but when the new model comes out I might just be back at the Skoda Showroom


    General comments: The Skoda Fabia VRS 1900 TDi is beautifully put together, fast, cheap to run, cheap to insure and just great to drive. The turbo diesel engine has so much torque it takes your breath away if hit the gas pedal hard. I used it as a driving school car, easy to drive and so forgiving, Even with the treatment school cars tend to get it was faultless, I changed it for a new one after two years there were no noises, no rattles, no faults it was as good as when I drove it off the forecourt. We have all heard the old Skoda Jokes, but their new cars are something else, that's why they are top of nearly every car poll.

    Cheap to buy, cheap to run, great fun to drive. Its a stealth hot hatch, as nobody really knows much about it. Gives you a big grin for not a lot of money and the fuel economy is fantastic for such a responsive car. By the way, Its a perfect commuter car.

    Although the name Skoda was a joke many years ago, this Skoda Fabia VRS 1900 TDi is without doubt a great car to own! VW GTI and AUDI A3 turbos can be kept with under acceleration up to impressive speeds. It makes me grin watching their faces!
