For scanning multiple photographs it is brilliant. Spread them evenly on the platen and the software picks out the individual snaps and scans them individually. The software will improve the scanned image if required. The negatives scan function works well. The Optical Character Recognition (OCR) function seems to cope well with the articles I have tried. The software which comes with the scanner is easy to use, although you do have to specify whether the object to be scanned is a photograph... (read more)
