Good Points: 6 Megapixel was a good spec when this was bought. Very good pictures, auto anti-shake works great. Looks really smart. Shutter feels good pressed, has fairly good repeat picture speeds.
Bad Points: Zoom problem, has to be sorted before using movie mode, cant be altered later. When transferring from camera to pc, the camera gets no charge from the connection, so has to have a decent charged up battery, this involve removing this and placing it into the Panasonic battery charger, a bit of drag considering most modern stuff can use the usb ports for transfer power.
General comments: I found the controls confusing, but maybe that's just me, I don't really use all of the features, there is no separate sound recording mode, but there is a sound (a few seconds recording) feature with still photo if you want it. Its best feature is to be able to 3x optical and 4xdigital almost always freeze your image. You can connect it up to you tv with the supplied lead.

A chap in a camera shop told me this model is not promoted in the UK because Panasonic doesnt offer such good deals to shops. However I think its worth searching it out as it is a really well made robust camera.
