    Pear Tree Inn is a good location but poor service and decidedly average food. disappointing.

    The Pear Tree Inn pub and location are beautiful and has a very homely feel. The food is good quality and the menu has lots of locally sourced ingredients. The service is a little slow - lunch on a Saturday took 2 hours for 3 courses. Staff could be more friendly and need more training on how to serve food and keep glasses filled. There are no options on the menu for side dishes, i.e. vegetables, potatoes. Generally a lovely pub but, just needs a little more strength in management to make it p ...

    I love this place; I've been here several times and on every occasion I've been met with friendliness and courtesy. Doesn't matter if you just want a half of bitter or the full works, lunch or dinner - the service and the food are excellent. Decor is interesting, the gardens are lovely and it's a great place to relax and have a really great meal.
