Just wanted to say thank you to April for going the extra mile this morning in helping sort an issue with our existing mailboxes and in helping update the settings as well as looking at a separate issue with Web Builder. Friendly and speedy service as well as being willing to spend the time to help an untechie person with their problems. (read more)

This is not the first time domain monster has helped me with a problem managing my domain names. The end result is that ALL of my domain names are now registered with them. Every member of staff I have dealt with has always been competent and knowledgeable. On this occasion, three different staff members picked up emails and skilfully kept the momentum going, but it was a lovely gentleman who finally guided my problem to resolution. Not the cheapest for .com names, it has to be said. But... (read more)

Despite all my efforts I couldn't get my new iPhone to synch with my domain emails. I was at the point of taking the phone back to the shop when I rang Chris at Domain Monster. He talked me through the settings on my MacBoook and iPhone. He was patient, courteous and very professional. It now all works like a dream! Thanks a million Chris and everyone at Domain Monster for such great support. My friend Danny recommended Domain Monster to me when I set up my own consultancy business. I am so... (read more)

I've been with Domain Monster for years and would never consider moving, simply because their customer service is absolutely second to none. Today I wrote in asking how to complete web forwarding, and I received a reply from them within 15 minutes asking me for some information. I wrote back to explain that I didn't know how or where to find the information he had requested. Less than 30 minutes later I received another email from him telling me that he'd gone ahead and logged in to my... (read more)

I think it's fair to say that a lot of these type of sites usually don't have great customer service at the best of times, but Domain Monster are simply brilliant. They replied to all of my emails within around 10-15 minutes which is brilliant and not only this but they also called me to let me know what was going on. Would definitely recommended them. I moved to Domainmonster because my existing provider was too expensive, unreliable and slow to respond to support queries. Domainmonster has been excellent. Domain Monster is the best hosting company ever! They provide amazing customer service that puts most companies (hosting or otherwise) to shame! The phone rings about twice and then a plesant sounding English chap will answer, who is very easy to understand, even if like me you sometimes struggle to say exactly what you mean when it comes to tech. There is a partically helpful chap who has helped me a lot, this guy deserves a big pat on the back!! Very clear communications, understood me... (read more)

I've run into many issues editing my website by myself. This is simply because I am not very technologically savvy. The website builder itself is wonderful, but I definitely had some issues... Thankfully, Domain Monster's fantastic over-the-phone tech support employee helped me every single step of the way. I must have had at least 5 very time-consuming tasks that I brought over the phone to him over the course of one afternoon. I think our total time spent on the phone fixing my website's... Been with Domainmonster for just over 2 years, as having first round of domain renews now. Purchasing is very quick and easy, can be up and running in 30 seconds flat. Management interface very easy to use and very powerful allowing me to do anything I could possibly want to do very quickly. I have had to use other domain management pages in my line of work and the ones I have used are a lot worse than domainmonsters, and take a lot longer get to where what I want to do! I have worked for companies with huge domain portfolios and have interacted with a large number of domain registrars and for domain management, Domain Monster is my favourite. Anytime I've contacted their support, the phone has been answered quickly and they make an effort to help you get your issue resolved. Their web account interface is well designed and the tools you need to self-manage your domain are available. This is not to say that I've never had any issues, simply to say that,... (read more)

After being in the domaining business for over a decade I was unlucky enough to finally purchase a few domains from an eBay user that had unfortunately registered them with Domain Monster. After completing the transaction and having them moved into my account, they sat there quite happily for over a week. Then today (Sunday) they decided to ring me up for a 'courtesy' call, in the middle of dinner, I told them not interested in whatever they're selling and put the phone down. A few minutes... Domainmonster will let you sign up and pay for domains then they hit you with a sudden account lockout (preventing transfer out) and 48h ultimatum, whereby you have to scan and send your passport and driver's licence. If you refuse, they keep the domain(s) and your money. No refund, no recourse. Avoid them, go elsewhere. (read more)

Having been well and truly scammed by Uk Mail Exchange I cut my losses and came to Domainmonster. Had to call them to check a couple of things and each time extremely helpful, polite and prompt. I have never had a domain registrar ask me to send them a copy of my driver's license and utility bills. When I refused, they claimed they can't give me a refund "since my account is locked down". So basically, they want to keep $30+ of my money while denying me access to my domain. I will be running a chargeback on these scumbags shortly but wanted to make everyone aware of their shady practices. Avoid these jerks at all cost. (read more)

Easily the best registrar out there. Would recommend them in an instant. Fantastic support and customer service, reply to your emails very quickly. Just commenced moving over a number of domain names from namesco (AWFUL company, but that is another story). As such have had reason to contact Domain Monster's customer services a number of times, and was exceptionally impressed. 5*s for that without a doubt! Prices are also (from what I can find) the best, or amongst the best, in the UK. My only complaint would be their interface - it's not very good. It could really do with a total revamp for the sakes of clarity and usability, however... (read more)

Domain monster are fine unless you have a problem at the weekend. I have had recurrent problems with my email account (which is paid for not free). I understand things can go wrong but do I have to go through the same silly routine e.g. check your internet connection. Check your password etc. I am an IT Manager so I kind of know a little bit about email! Like I say they are ok so long as you don't expect them to respond at the weekend. Or Christmas. Or Easter. Or any of the Bank Holidays. (read more)

Waited a while after registering before leaving a review.

No problems, now moving over the last batch of my domains - I do them 25 plus at a time to get the max discount. a .uk counts for 2 points, .com / .net / .org as 1 point, to qualify for the 25+ discount, so 10 .com and 8 .uk does the job. I'll also retag the remaining 60 .uk domains as you don't get charged for them until renewal!

DomainMonster is by far one of the best registrars out there. Their customer service is always helpful, friendly, and is quick to address my concerns. I really can't fault Domain Monster at all. I moved to them after using and maintaining varying types of top level domain names across 3 different registrars - Enom (US), Joker (Germany) and UKReg (for Nominet UK domain names). Not that I had any particular issues with Enom or Joker, its just they are not based in the UK. Domain Monster is the new UKReg, as far as I'm concerned. After UKReg's (aka Fasthosts) recent mess up with customer passwords (see: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2007/11/30/fasthost_hack_update/ ), I felt it a necessity to move my domains out from them to an alternative domain holding company.
