    Good Points: Easy to use.


    Bad Points: Battery life is not good in my opinion.


    General comments: Overall it is ideal for the basic usage. If you want things done fast then this isn't one for you as far as I am concerned. For me the only good point is it is easy to use, but as far as I am concerned so are all laptops these days therefore I do not recommend HP Pavilion ZE5100.

    I bought this HP Pavilion ZE5100 laptop in Feb of '03. It's worked pretty well for most of that time. The main complaints I have are the low battery life and the extremely loud fans. Oh, and about 6 weeks after my one year warranty expired, the lcd screen went out. HP Support charged me $40 to talk to someone who told me that they'd be happy to replace the screen for $700. I told them to bite me and now I'm happy with a Dell. I will never ever buy any other HP product after being dumped on by th ...

    What's going on at HP?!!! Their products and support are both sub-par. I bought a HP Pavilion ZE5100 notebook for one of my sons and it's been in for repairs for 4 months of the so called one year warranty. (two seperate repairs) Recently my son broke the AC plug receptacle out of frustration (another uncommanded system shutdown).
