    i applyed for an asda card in august 2009 was accepted straight away but pin turned up no card ive reorderd card about 6 times the pin comes but no card i called customer services about 30 times and keep getting fobbed off they say wait a week(14days altogether) they said they had a problem with there processing plant and cards are not getting dispatched,ive been garenteed it will turn up 5 times yet still no card todate its now cost me over 200 pounds calling there call centre its rediculous and very frustrating,they should inform you if they have a problem not cover it up is any 1 else having this problem?

    Been and ASDA Credit Card User for Two year, alway paid my bill ever month on time. Only now they has slashed my credit limit by 90%. Saying I have a poor credit rating. So I have now applied for a new card. No problem at all.

    Due to my statement not arriving I did not pay in time. Very expensive phone calls to people who cannot speak english only to be told that there was nothing they could do as it was the system. Having finally paid and thought it all sorted out I then received a letter stating my credit card would be withdrawn as I had a bad rating despite having this card for many years and paying in full every month. The service is absolutely appalling.

    I initially took out this Asda card as it had a decent bonus scheme - including money off petrol, free delivery when shop online at Asda with the Asda card and points each time you use the card. All of these bonuses have either stopped or dramatically reduced. I accepted this as a sign of the times.Being environmentally friendly I went to e-statements.     I have held the ASDA credit card for over 3 years now, and use it regularly for food shopping, for fuel, for direct purchases and for on-line purchasing. I have had only one problem in all this time, when a real non-ASDA purchase went wrong. I paid for items (wall tiles) to be ordered in, over £100 so within s.75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974, and after 3 months the shop still couldn't deliver, so I demanded my money back.     The ASDA Credit Card customer service line is VERY costly and the help is limited. I've not been able to manage my online account for over a month and still no one can help me access it. Get told the same thing every time and then when I do what they say, it blocks my account.

    I have had transactions cancelled on Asda credit card without my knowledge.
    The car insurance and purchase of a new vehicle were cancelled five days after the card was used without any explanation whatsoever.

    2 year olds know better maths than ASDA Credit Card - or is that an insult to 2 year olds? Having had to tell my story to 3 different people on the first occasion I was assured the account would be closed. Two months later a bill arrived from the 'closed' account and a demand from Santander. Instead of crediting the account they had debited this 'closed' account. My advice is DO NOT TOUCH THIS CARD.

    To "log on" is very difficult and I can understand why customers are so dissatisfied. Review is full of complaints especially re. the website and the costly phone charges.
    Why cant ASDA sort out the problems? The log on box should be on the web page to start.

    Generally I have had no major issues with the asda credit card. Havent had to call customer service so I cannot really comment. The website is awful i must admit, constantly getting errors or session expiry which is extrememly irritating. As for those who call customer service; look on the back of you card and phone the international number by replacing the +44 with a 0 - Youget through to the same line for free. This can be done for any company with an international number.

    i recently finished with asda credit card it wasnt worth the hassle try to save 2p a litre on fuel by the time you have to phone them to sort a problem out thats if you can get through you end up saving nothing all you get is a headache and a big phone bill
    no to mention the number of times that they stopped my card for no reason and no explination

    all in total a very very poor sevice so asda keep your card

    Once ASDA have sold you this credit card they absolve all responsibility if you have any problems and you have to try to deal with Indian Contact Centre if you can ever get through. Would take less time and expense to walk there!

    They set up a monthly automatic direct debit of £5 to ensure payment wasn't missed. On one occasion had a balance of £53 to pay so paid £50 extra - total paid therefore should have been £55, over and above balance. However, they didn't take ...

    got an asda card a few years ago always have problems trying to pay the minimum payment i have tried on many occasions to get the date changed from the 27th of the month to an earlier date say like the 6th of the month i always payed my payments at the bank say the 6th of the month then they say they want the money around about the 25th .basicly if you pay early they still want moore money so then they charge you the late payment charge is this right anybody else been done by them ???

    My Asda credit card expires 07.09 and when I came to use it last Friday I found that it had been discontinued. After waiting on the inefficient 10p per minute customer service line I was told that 2500 customers whoes cards expired in July had had their cards stopped by mistake but that a new card was on its way. I telephoned again this morning when the card did not arrive to be told that it takes 14 days thye consolation being that 5 of those days have gone so I only have to wait 9 days.

    Not had any problems until recently. If i had known how the online service is i would not have signed up for it. Web site not easy to follow had to ring customer service to find out how to access my statements, even staff said website not user friendly.

    When ringing Asda. The answer phone message is so slow, sometimes you end up waiting for someone to answer, at 10p a minute that's no joke.

    Only got the ASDA card to save on diesel and operated the card paying off the balance on-line every month with no problem for about 6 months.
    Last month on attempting to pay on-line my payment did not go through for no apparent reason - my Switch card details have not changed and more than adequate funds in current account.
