    I did not have a pleasant experience in the bridal house of chester, i was made to feel as if i was wasting their time and embaressed about looking for my dress a year before the wedding. They gave me no help in selecting dresses or letting me try any on, all i was told was they would be recieving a new collection soon, and to come back then. After finding a dress i liked they wouldn't even bother writing the details down for me. I wil not be visiting again.

    The way i was treated and the way my dresses were treated was disgusting i wudnt reccomend you to family and friends as i dont think it was dealt with correctly.

    My wedding dress shopping has begun with just under 2 years before the big day. With lots to organise and sheer excitement my bridesmaid and I decided to go around and gather ideas for the style of dress which would suit.     As soon as I walked into Bridal House of Chester I felt nothing was too much trouble . The staff are very friendly and have a wealth of experince.
    I found my dream dress . I would recomend the shop very highly.
    I will also get my Brides /Maids and mens suits from there. Lovely looking shop , friendly staff , very good range of dresses

    My sister got her gown from Bridal House of Chester a few years ago and the service was ok. I went there as it was the shop that I knew and was delighted to find my perfect dress. The service I got was brilliant and the lady who looked after me was fantastic and couldn't do enough.

    It was pointed out to me when I ordered that it was now under new ownership and I am glad it is as I can't wait for my dress to arrive and to go and try it on, it has truly been a wonderful experience!

    This shop has now been taken over by another group and the service has got worse. It wasn't the best to begin with but now they are so inflexible that I can't beleive that they manage to sell anything. When we ordered our daughters wedding dress from there last year there were minimal problems, this year with bridesmaid dresses for the second wedding, nothing but angst, just when you don't need it.     Fantastic - i am now getting my dress, all the bridesmaids dresses and the grooms and his party's suits. lovely staff and a great building. i will reccomend to every one.

    Overall I would prefer to go somewhere a bit smaller to get that one to one assistance i have found so important when choosing a dress

    Whilst visiting Chester for a day I happened upon this store by chance after spotting a beautiful gown in the window.

    I went inside, told the assistant that i am getting married in August, and that I really liked the dress in the window. I was asked if I had an appointment, which I didn't, and was told that veiwing on Sundays is by appointment only as they only had a skeleton staff.

    Not only was the wedding dress and the service perfect upstairs in the bridal department, but, downstairs they had just the right outfit for me, 'the mother of the bride'!

    I would recommend Bridal House of Chester.

    In general a good service, where with some assistance you can choose the dresses you want to try on. The room I was shown to was large and airy with a huge mirror. Only downside is that the dressing rooms seemed to be individual with no waiting area. So I tried all the dresses on (pants and bra) in front of the assistant and my future mother in law! My only complaint is that the assistant seemed quite focused on getting me through all the dresses quickly, and dismissing early any that I didn ...

    I can not agree with other reviewers comments. As a lady the wrong side of a size 18, I visited the Bridal House last year to reluctantly try for a dress for my big day. Previous experiences in other stores, had proved to be horrid and embarrassing, with many shops squeezing me into dresses 3 sizes too small as "that is the only size we have for trying on" This was not the case at Bridal House, staff there took their time showing me many different styles, some of which I had never considered ...

    My experience of the Bridal House was very positive. Previous wedding dress shops that I had visited locally did not have the same positive response and told me that I had "left it too late" to look for dresses! I got married in November and this was August. By contrast, the Bridal House welcomed me, treated me with courtesy and nothing was a problem for the staff.
