I am a scooter novice. I bought my Lead brand new from a dealer on a whim. I paid £1500. After 5 months I have to say it was worth every penny. Is it possible to truely love a machine? You bet. I live in town and whizz about all over. I can beat most cars away from the lights much to their surprise. I am only 5ft 2, this bike is a perfect fit. Fuel economy has surprised me, 90+ mpg and insurance was dirt cheap. I have given my car up, that's how much I love my Honda.

Borrowed the Honda Lead 100 as a stopgap from my wife after selling my bike for 22 mile round trip commute. Totally surprised by its abilities. My commute is six miles B road and five miles congested city. Great laugh on B road trying to hold 52 mph top speed at all costs, superb through city traffic. 110 miles per week = £5. Can't think of what to replace it with, wife wants it back, she will have to wait.

I purchased a 08 honda lead on ebay. WOW!. Smooth, quiet, and beautiful. Photos dont do it justice. Large seat with bags of storage under. Powerful headlight and superb brakes. Love it to bits.

A great scooter. Purchased a Honda Lead for Christmas 2008 and have been very happy.Very cheap on petrol, runs smoothly, has plenty of power for a 100cc. Easily keeps up with traffic.Had a dicky battery but just had it changed over with my warranty. Honda were very helpful.

I have a full bike lic and have owned a handful of 600cc + bikes.
I am now doing the all london knowledge to become a London black cab driver on my Honda Lead 100, and i can tell you now this little baby handles perfectly in the rain. You always take your time in the wet what ever bike or experience you have. As for hitting the steering i am 5ft 11 and have no problems at all

The other day I took my 08 fireblade to get a clutch replacement (factory recall), and chose to take the Lead 110 for a ride because I was considering replacing my 2001 Yamaha dt125re with it for short rides around the city and more.

My idea or prediction about this bike was that I was going to be surprised by a a phenomenal fuel economy and that also it would have a decent acceleration off the lights and would be a little harder on the bumps than the Dt125re (of course heheh). I was also eage ...

I just sold my Lead 100 for the new Lead 110. I was very happy with the old Lead apart from buying security for it. I thought it wouldn't be a problem for the new Lead and that I can at last buy a disc lock. It was a pain looking for a disc lock which would fit so i just gave up and went for a chain. The new Lead seems to be a lot noiser than the old Lead. The 100 was very quiet. Although the 110 does handle smoother. Unfortunately the extra 6cc doesn't make it go faster. In fact it does ...

As an old Honda 90cc person (45,00 miles before it started to fall apart!) the Honda 110 Lead is a very great improvement. It is a pleasure to drive and the CVT performs well.

I was looking for a scooter to commute to work. I chose the Honda Lead 100 over other models because of value for money and easy handling.

2008 Honda Lead 110. Just got rid of the Honda 90 (6 years and 20,000 miles) and the Lead is such an improvement; easy starting, loads of luggage space, low seat and no vibration on the handlebars. Technically right up to the minute with fuel injected engine. The handling is a bit different though, the battery is under the headlight making the steering seem heavier, but there's no problem - you just learn a different technique and round to go. I used to do all the servicing on the previous bike ...

New 2008 Honda 110cc lead. What can I say it is brilliant! I am a short rider about 5ft 6in and this bike is perfectly balanced, it is light nimble and lower than any other scooter.
Performance is 30% better than the old lead (I bought mine to do the london knowledge and I have been on the london streets in heavy rain and traffic and this bike has given me a lot of confidence due to the excellent braking system).
Why buy a ps or sh when this model is only £1600 and under a fiver to fill u ...

This is the first scooter I have ever bought and, at a reasonably cheap on the road price compared to others of the same category, it performs better than my car! With a lower fuel consumption, better acceleration (0 to 20 mph in about a second) and easier to park, the Honda Lead 110 easily beats its competitors.
Great for quick trips, commutes ot work and the odd jaunt to the shop for some milk. Top speeed (for me, anyway) of 54 mph, so it can safely ride on main roads and the good brakes (bett ...

VERY reliable. I had the old 100 Honda Lead, which I sold with a great degree of heartburn, and bought the new one and there is no looking back!
The new lead is good, needs 4 litres of fuel every 100 miles with two persons and their helmets, office stuff, shoes, jackets!
Good to run, and make sure that you buy it with a windshield and a 35 litre top box.
the top box also works as a backrest for the pillion passenger, so they do not have to lean forward all the time, they can sit relaxed and in ...

Awesome purchase I would totally recommend this scooter to anyone looking for an economical alternative to commuting and gas guzzling cars that are a nightmare to park.
I've never regreted buying this model, its got power even in its humble 100cc engine so that you can pull away faster than cars at traffic lights..this feature becomes very useful if ever your in a potentially dangerous situation such as when 2 car drivers are being stupid boxing you in while trying to get ahead of each other, th ...
