An excellent little bike.Heavier than a typical small scooter, but easy to control at low speeds.Has good acceleration from start, and yet has enough grunt to hold open highway speed so you can stay with traffic flow. The riding position is comfortable, the seat is good, and you are able move your feet around to change pressure on your knees. Very good fuel economy(27-30kms to litre,75 miles to U.S gal).Has plenty of storage with two lidded bins around bars, and big under-seat capacity(easily takes full-faced helmet)Easy access for basic maintenance checks on gas, oil, coolant, tyre valves, battery, helped by having a side and centre stand. If you have previously ridden motorcycles with manual gears, then there is a short adjustment period when using the CVT transmission. The main point for me was to remember that there is no engine braking on throttle roll-off, so you tend to use your brakes more(these are strong in action, with disc's front and back)The bike handles well, and you may well surprise some riders on larger machines (particularly if they have never learned to counter-steer...)I feel that a used Nss250 represents far better value than a brand-new chinese clone. The difference in quality of components and finish is very obvious.

I own and ride the Honda Forza NSS250EX in the UK and is an absolute joy to ride. The riding style is truely relaxing and glides along down those country roads, the EX has the added extra's; manual gear selection and kick down so acceleration is there when you need it and riding it you also have the knowledge it stops pretty damn quick with its ABS Brakes. Motorway driving, the Forza sits happily at 75mph and even at these speeds does 70mpg!. Because this is an import and not many are around in the UK, bikers do stop to take a look and heads do turn.
Bad point... Why are these not sold throughout the UK

The Honda Forza NSS is a joy to ride. This little scooter surprises a lot of other bikers with its power and agility.

Like a smaller version of the Silver Wing (which I now have), and really a pretty good bike. I used it pretty much daily to go to work (only 10 kms) and all round the city. Did about 3000 kms in a year. Motorway adequate but need to go more or less flat out (120 km/hr). Nippy and light enough to throw around (175 kgs). However, not as light as the Foresight (which I had before) at 160 kgs. If I were going for another 250 I'd go for a Foresight rather than a Forza, I think. (In New Zealand your choices are pretty limited). I do use a solar charger over weekend or when leaving it, but battery did flatten after 6 weeks away this year.
