No support. I've been using Mailsnare and had even recommended it in the past to others. They were either bought or just don't want to do anywork. Features no longer are available and there is absolutely no response to any of the issues. In the process of moving to another provider.

I hate changing and I believe in loyalty. Also we wanted to be local patriots and stick to this WI company (where my husband was born). I don't believe in "cheaper is better" either. However lately mailsnare has gotten on my nerves and let me down AGAIN. Too much downtime and absolotely no custemer service. They only contact you to get their money. Good old values absololutely forgotten. A pity! Not even a one star service overall!

Mail Snare went way downhill, seems to be on the way out. Have been with them for some years now, but as many others have noted, this started to take a dive and is at just about rock bottom.
No matter the issue, no one replies - you will only get a general email from "service" if they are looking for MONEY.
Seems to be on the way out, going with Fastmail.

Mail Snare has terrible support, and too expensive compared to others'.

From riches to rags - unable to log in, no information or response to e-mails. I have moved my account elsewhere.

If getting your email is remotely important to you - I do not recommend Mail Snare. The regularity of "system outages" in my experience coupled with their unhelpful customer services when I contacted them is going to drive me away to a different email address site. I have been with them for nearly 3 years - what used to be a good service is now completely unusable for me. I will go elsewhere; I suggest you do too.

I have been a mailsnare customer for almost 4 years, and I've generally been happy with the service, until my most recent attempt to contact customer support. For most of that time, I've had a 5 account package. About 8 months ago, I started trying to contact support (via both email and their web site) to get my service switched back to a single account. After about 10 attempts with no response, I've given up and switched to a different provider. Their customer service used to be excellent, but not any more in my experience.

Overall bad service. Service went down hill after about a year. Very slow. Even though they claim to stop most spam, I had more spam than regular mail. Poor customer service, even when I wanted to renew and had a question, they were slow to respond so I gave up. Not worth it even if they gave it away for free.

I do not recommend this email service, mainly because of its spam filters, frequent down time, and poor customer support in my experience. I would not recommend anyone to use this service. Their spam filters for me has not worked well at all, even the ones which are custom made by you and you know what they are supposed to do have not for me. Their country filters were the same. They are down frequently and I cannot seem to retrieve my email? There is no subsequent explanation of why they have been down, nor is there an estimated time that it will be back up. I feel sometimes left in the dark for 1-2 days as in my opinion they shut down their forum 1/1/2007.. and I personally can not find no further discussions from customers. As far as I am aware they have not yet responded to my emails. The last posted new "innovation" was something like August 2007 which was filtering of PDF files. Their advertised "newsletter" is ancient in my opinion. What used to be a good service for years, has deteriorated I personally feel to the point that I would not recommend somebody to use this service.

I have been a customer of MAILSNARE for several years when web based e-mail was relatively new concept. It was great to retain the same e-mail address as ISP's changed. Now, that is "old" news and there are several free web based e-mail offering, Gmail being one I'm now using. Mailsnare has dropped significantly in the ability to stop spam. Also, I am finding there are delays in processing e-mail and working their site. I am also finding that there is a clear drop in customer service. All in all, in my opinion it seems they are slipping and it is time for me to move on. I do not recommend Mail Snare.net

While downtime is somehow unavoidable, I feel that Mail Snare was down way too often. I know their service used to be good a few years ago, but it is no longer the case.
If you want to have unreliable e-mail, frequent downtime and not be able to read your messages when you need to, there is no doubt, Mail Snare is for you.

I suspect it is a small hole-in-the-wall operation in Wisconsin. Mail Snare email have an impressive website but that is all.
The last two months have been a nightmare. I have not been able to send or reply to emails. The problem is they only have online help. Their website is thousands of words long, and it is all tech oriented. The worst problem they have is no 1-800# or live help available. They respond via email and only 1 0f 5 help requests is responded to.
