Good Points: Realistic gameplay Graphics look great Good variety of game options
Bad Points: Commentary Non-licensed teams/players Some annoying things in gameplay
General comments: Pro Evolution Soccer 3 - This game is a definate improvement on pes2, although I think pes2 is a bit smoother in gameplay, pes3 has a lot more features and skills which make up for this. There's a few more options in the games, i.e., master league has more features in transfers, points system and player actions. The bad things in the game are really in the gameplay, sometimes the players seem to lose the ability to stay awake, they don't always react as quick as you like them to and they can be quite slow in different aspects of the game. The other annoying thing is the decisions given, too often you make a perfectly fair tackle and win the ball fair and square, yet you can get penalised for this and even booked sometimes. There's many things I could talk about in this game but it would take me all day so this is the basic review. Without a doubt this football game is the best to date, and Fifa have a long way to go to catch up with this excellent game.

Pro Evolution Soccer 3 - I have had lots of other football games on the PS1 (I have basically got all the FIFA games that are available on PS1) but nothing can beat PES3. I think that everything about the game except for the commentary is better than on FIFA games. Take it from me, don't get the next FIFA 2005 game, GET PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER 3!!!

Whoever buys Fifa is not in their right mind. Pro Evo is pure class you have total control over all players, transfers are easy, the master league is brilliant. Who cares about licences I'd rather play a much better game. In my opinion Fifa is no competion and shouldn't even be compared with this superd game.

Overall I think Fifa 2004 is just a better game than Pro Evolution Soccer 3. The players have their real names. Transfers are much better than PES3.
Free kicks are better on Fifa than PES3.
Don't get me wrong, PES3 is a quality game and I have had hours of fun playing on it.

Pro Evolution Soccer 3 is the best football game ever. Forget the childish FIFA football. This game gives you 100 % control over your player.

Of Course FIFA has a better graphics but what good's that to you, if you can't PLAY the game !!!!

Ever since I have played Po Evo 1, I have become an ardent fan of this soccer game series for its challenging and realistic gameplay aspects.
The great thing about PE is that you also feel a sense of achievement when you score a goal or win the world cup (without cheating on the meomory card, that is).
I missed out on PE2, so my comparison of PE3 will be against PE1 :
1) The commentary has improved in leaps and bounds and is at least relevant to the gameplay.

Pro Evolution Soccer 3 is brilliant the gameplay is so realistic. It feels like you're in the game, if your a true football fan buy it, but if youre a person who likes all your kits right then you'd be better off buying Fifa 2004.

Pro Evolution Socer 3from Konami is the best football game ever. The crowd is accurate. The gameplay is amzing it feels like your in the game. The Master league mode is excellent. PES3 has edit mode but Fifa dosent. PES3 is a lot better then Fifa. BUY IT NOW !
