Good Points: Smashes real easy with hammer

Bad Points: I had to pay for it.

General comments: I purchased the tactical auto loader. The gun is not reliable. Very fussy on what it will eject. The biggest issue is when I got the gun it was chock full of metal shavings and cutting oil. I have never seen anything like it. I call the Daly customer service for help on the gun and told them the manual does not cover this model. He could care less with his attitude, sounded like he owned the place. Since I was only going to stick it under the mattress for HD. I decided the best thing for me to do was smash it to pieces with a hammer and cut into small pieces and send if registered mail to the President. of the company so he has to sign for it and tell him to take a flying fart . I feel great now. Ya it cost me, but I sure love the new Remington... a golf club is a better HD than Charles Daly and his service dept.

The Charles Daly Field 12 GA Advantage Timber HD Semi Auto is an awesome shotgun, best in the house, shoots straight very light weight, and dependable. Shot 2 big TOMS with it last year Long hikes with this awesome shooting machine. I love IT! Light weight, Straight shooting, multi uses, easy action, fun to shoot. Only bad point is trigger housing feels cheap.

I would not recommend this gun to anyone. It is light and comfortable to hold. It hangs up and is not very reliable. Have to send it back to manufacturer three times now.

Easy to clean easy to shoot and has never failed to work. Period. allI can say is they are well worth the price of this gun. Just because its a daly dosnt make it Junk and thos that do are missing a fine shotgun. Over all for the price this is the gun to choose it beats taking a 2000.00 dollar gunout that your afraid to use! This gun has it it all rugged goodlooks and it never fails to shoot. Boom boom boom as they say it works and works well

I clean my guns immediately after I shoot any of them which I have found will make a difference in inexpensive weapons. This gun has never had any problems and I can shoot 38 out of 50 at the trap range, which is good for me. For the price it is an excellent value. I have shot 3" steel at geese and it ejected and loaded every time. A friend of mine has one and has had problems with 3" shells not ejecting. That is the only issues he has had.

I bought one of the Charles Daly 12ga Field semi autos to replace my over and under 12ga that I used for skeet, sporting clays and turkey. While a Charles Daly is no where near a high end gun, it is great for the budget minded shooter that doesnt want to spend an arm and a leg to go out and have a good time at the gun club. So far I have shot 1 oz skeet loads and some normal Remington game loads with the gun with absolutely zero jams or malfunctions. I have broken the gun in properly and have be ...

First I had the buffer plug shatter. I called Charles Daly and after 6 weeks they sent me another one with out any instruction of how to put it in. I put it in. Then the handle broke on the action, after about a half box of shells. I sent it back to Charles Daly and after a long period of time they sent it back. The next season I used it, and it broke again. Now I am stuck with this worthless shot gun. I bought it at Walmart and the will not take it back. Nor will charles Daly refund me my mone ...

I have had my Charles Daly for 2 years and it has been the worst gun i have ever owned. I wouldn't recommend it to any dove or duck hunter. This past duck season, i was about 1/2 mile back in some flooded timber when the gun blew the extractor pen and the shell extractor completely out of the gun. Contacted Charles Daly and it took them a week to return my call and three more weeks to send me the parts. When dove season came around it done the exact same thing with a real light shell. Needless t ...

The gun shoots great when shooting a dove load or a light 3" shell. But when shooting a 3" mangum for example, it will shoot and eject, but it will not rechamber the second shot. support at charles daly, well, It stinks. and all the local gun shops will not even work on one.
