Generally all in all everything was brilliant about Futura and they should not go bust like others have done so.

Travelled back from Tenerife on the morning of 22/08/08 to Humberside Airport and was totally disgusted at the state of the interior of this aircraft, it looked like it had not been cleaned for some time, the seats were a mixture of different coloured upholstery and looked like they had come from a variety of sources, the seat I had would not even recline, there was no DVD screens which I thought would have been the norm on a flight of this length. Needless to say I will think very carefully bef ...

Flew from Liverpool to Lanzarote on 21st August 2008 returned on 28th. From earlier reviews I was a little concerned but need not have been. Baggage check in opened on time and from then on it was a clear run with the flight leaving on time, at Arricife the time from landing to sitting on the coach was 20 minutes. The same applied to the return with a slight delay (5 minutes) in taking off due to the aircraft in front. The food was standard charter aircraft food no worse than any other I have ha ...

On the way to Palma, the plane was disgusting. It was really dirty and the seats where filthy. The staff were completely useless and impolite. And to top it all of when we were being shown to our seats my seat didn't even exist because they had taken it out to make room in front of the side door emergency exit so I was extremely lucky that there was one more seat available.
On the way home it was exactly the same disgusting, filthy and the same useless staff. Except this time they lost over hal ...

This was easily the worst flight I have ever been on. The state of the plane was disgusting. It couldn't have been cleaned in ages. There was litter all over the floor and the seats were covered in crumbs and stains. The smell from the lavatories was overpowering, and the poor excuse for an in flight meal was laughable. It consisted of a four inch long hard roll with margarine and a thin slice of ham with a cup of dishwater tea. I know it isn't exactly supposed to be a first class service, but I ...

My family and I were a bit wary of flying with Futura after reading other comments about this airline (especially as I am a very nervous flier). We need not have worried at all. Our flights from Prestwick to Palma and Palma to Prestwick were absolutely fine. I would definitely fly with them again. All I can say is don't ALWAYS believe what you read.

On checking other people's reviews on Futura International Airways I was a bit wary of flying with them, but to be honest there was no worries at all.

Flight from Prestwick to Palma was on time and the staff were very friendly. Snack was very basic, cheese and ham baguette with tea or coffee, but this was to be expected on a budget airline, but enjoyed it anyway. Aircraft was reasonably comfortable with leather seats. Leg room was fine. No inflight entertainment on outward flight but this wasn' ...

Being a charter airline, they obviously just concentrate on flying and not handling people. Also, passenger queues at check-in are not organised and do not open a full 2-3 hours before departure as they should. If you want to complain, or speak to someone, better not waste your time as it's impossible to get through. Although the fleet works, they score seriously low on customer care all round.

This was my first flight with Futura and after reading some reviews I was a little concerned about it, however there was no need to be. Our flight left Edinburgh on time and landed into Lanzarote early. The crew were polite and friendly and spoke very good English on our return journey flights again were on time and again I could not fault Futuras standard or customer service. They offered 2 bar services and a duty free run...I did not find them pushy with sales. They served the food and tidied ...

Flew to Lanzarote June 2008 and the flights there and back were on time. I have no complaints about the flights. I would recommend Futura airways and would certainaly fly with them again. The staff were helpful and polite and the food was reasonable on the plane. All in all good flights and we arrived back in Glasgow Airport early on our return from Lanzarote.

Plane had technical difficulties resulting in a 16 hour delay, no rep was on hand to advise the 200 passengers until 2 hours later when they arranged for coaches to take us to a nearby hotel.
Terrible customer service in my opinion- I wouldn't recommend this airline to anyone!!

The worst airline I have ever had the misfortune to use!
At 06.00 on 5th July we arrived at Malaga Airport for our 07.35 am return flight to Dublin and boarded. The plane started to head for the take off and stopped. Eventually the pilot told us that there was a problem and that we were to get off. Hours later (no exaggeration) we were told that a part was required and had to be flown in from outside Spain.
Eventually we were told the part had arrived and had been fitted tested and was in workin ...

Futura International airways started in the late 80s initially by Aer Lingus and has changed ownership several times since. I think the airline needs stable ownership as it seems to be sold on every few years.
The airline also suffered a few decompressions throughout the years.
I would not recommend flying with this airline.

I have just returned from a holiday in Majorca and I have got to say, this was the most disorganised flight I have ever been on, me. My son (3) and my friend all nearly got split up on the way, the staff spoke very poor English and quite rude.
On our return flight we all got split up again! I'm just glad my son slept through on the flight, otherwise I don't know what would of happened.
It was an absolute joke! I am also writing a complaint to Thomas Cook, it made the whole holiday stressful. ...

I would have to say it was the worst airline I have flown with in many years. I was very dissappointed with the delays coming and going. I would think twice about flying with this airline again.

I flew with futura from dublin to lanzarote return. I thought the flight was terrible and I was disappointed with the crew. No tvs or radios at all and the smell from the toilets was horrific so when I booked all my recent holidays I made sure my flights weren't with futura the only nice thing was my breakfast on the way home over 1.5 out of 10

The airline Futura , are simply simple.

We flew from Humberside to Las Palma's on the 17th May. The flight was on time and when we go on the plane i just thought
` what have i let myself infore` the seats were all very close together me my wife and son couldn't even stretch out our legs.
The cabin crew spoke little English and the pilot was not heard from. The flight entertainment was flip down TVs with a film and some music channels. The cabin crew were very pushy trying to sell duty free pro ...

My flight with Futura was delayed for nearly 8 hours on return to Humberside.
Found the staff were not helpful as they did not make public the fact that free refreshments were available in an upstairs lounge. I have submitted a complaints forms to the airline, but as delay was not for over 8 hours, no compensation was paid. I do not recommend this airline.

Futura International Airways are a very professional Airline. Their staff are friendly and they speak good English (I didn't have any problems understanding them). Both flights were on time. The planes were new and very comfortable (black leather seats).
