    Bought Indesit as a mid priced family washing machine, I've had so many problems with it. program kept on running out of sync, continuous and never ending,
    brushes went after 6 months, pump also went, repaired myself. main drum bearings was the last straw, i would have a go at changing myself but the machine is soo poorly manufactured its not worth the hassle. totally unreliable. would never recommend.

    The previous Indesit we had before the WIE147 lasted 3 years before bearing failure so we stuck with the same make and model (ish) but this machine failing so early in its life and the failure of any support so close to the guarantee ending has removed any allegiance I had for Indesit.
    When I stripped the machine for recycling I thought the build quality was very disappointing.

    Never again.

    Advice? Steer clear.

    I am disgusted that having paid nearly £280 for this Indesit WIE147 less than 18 months ago, I have been advise to scrap it and buy another one because the cost of repairs isn't worth.
    First and last time I will buy an Indesit washing machine.

    Easy to use, logical programs.We have used it five times and it has already started to malfunction, i.e, we need to have someone to look at it as the program never stops running. Seems as if the pump has broken down, after five times. Worst durability.

    I spent £279 on an Indesit WIE147 washing machine, and it basically lasted me less than two years. It would have cost too much money to repair it, so I will put it towards a new washer which will not be a Indesit. It was my first experience of this make of washer and it will be my last.
