I applied the Xen Tan with gloves which went on with no problem, alot lighter than St Tropez and Fake Bake, dried very quick too!
I left on overnight and awoke to a lovely olive colour all over! Best fake tan I have ever used- and I have used alot :)
The smell of the tan when applying and drying is gorgeous but woke up to the same old rotten smell of fake tan :( Do not be fooled when the say it has no nasty fake tan smell- it does!!
I have very pale skin and thought the colour was going to be orangey as product is meant for darker skin but no- lovely colour and would def recommend!!

I bought the product from ebay for around £13 inc shipping so got a right bargain :)

I have black hair so although I'm white i do have a natural tan. I don't fake tan for a sun kissed look, i like to look brown!

I normally use St Tropez or Fake Bake Extreme Tan. I applied this product last night using latex gloves, although it has a brown colour to it which means that you can see where you are applying it it's still very difficult to apply. Its quite a dry/sticky lotion so you have to rub it in very quickly otherwise it leaves big brown marks. I cannot get used to rubbing it i ...

Not orange like they advertise, however I didn't notice much colour after one application, had to apply three layers before I had a noticeable tan, and even then it wasn't dark so I'm not sure why it's called dark lotion. Didn't last very long either, so not very good value for money.

I've tried so many tanning products over the years. I normally use Fake bake but though it was quite drying on the skin and was quite difficult to remove after a few days it goes very patchy.
Anyway Xen-tan is FANTASTIC!! It smells fab, is a totally stunning natual colour and i certainly think its the best product for self tanning on the market today.
With a few of the reviews on here i was a little unsure wether to try it..and im so glad i did. Really you can't go wronge with this self tan! ...

I have tried cheap self tanners and expensive highly raved about self tanners like st tropez and fake bake. I find that the drug store brands wear off bad and are way too yellow or slighlty orange and go streaky. St tropez gave me a yellowish color which i could get away cause im asian. but i wanted a perfect color. Fake bake was better but exdtremely messy and very drying to my skin and the color sinks into my pores so you see these dots of darker color. but the color was better but id rat ...

It is not that much better than Fake bake or St Tropez but it can be added as you go and not like the others where an full application is required.

Just a lovely olive colour though and not that orange glow that you can get.

I've literally gone out and tried twelve of the top rated fake tan products in order to find the best. Xen tan is by far the best. It results in a brown tone that it better than any other. No other product comes close to giving such a realistic color.

WOW!!!! I have been using fake tan for the last 20 years as my skin naturally resembles the colour of a frozen chip! I have never found one as good as Xen Tan Dark Lotion - its brilliant!!

The last 'professional' tanning product I used at home was St Tropez but I could never go out after applying it as I looked like I'd taken a mud bath!

Xen Tan is different - the colour of the lotion is perfect for seeing where you've applied it, I had no streaks and after five minutes could happily leave th ...

I agree with almost all on here, the xen-tan dark lotion colour is great and it doesn't streak. But, after a couple of hours ot stinks the house out! I have written directly to Xen Tan a few times complaining of this but suprisingly haven't had a response! I was really annoyed that I spent that much money and had to have a shower twice to get rid of the smell. Granted it does last a few days but your housemates or partners won't be your friends after you've applied!

I usually have spray tans as my friend is a mobile tanner, but she was on holiday & I needed tanning for a wedding so I thought I would give Xen-Tan Dark Tanning Lotion a go!

Fantastic product!! I purchased the Dark Tanning Lotion & Body Scrub in a package for about £30 incl P&P.

The body scrub is to be used before tan application and then during each shower after (excluding 1st shower). It has a lovely refreshing minty smell and leaves skin very soft.

The tan lotion is very dark brown ...

I use Xen-Tan dark tanning lotion, it does go on well and has a nice smell initally, but that does wear off and it does smell like stale biscuits. For me its the best one that i have tried and i have used alot, you do need to wear gloves as its stains your hands and you don't get that orange tan. I buy it from the web for £18.95 delievered. Not tried any of the other Xen tan products, so not sure what the difference is.

The xen-tan dark lotion was rated as a great smelling product not like the usual self tanners on its website. It smelt of almonds and cherries during application but after showering it smelt like all the others, the signature smell of stale something. The colour was immediate on application as stated. Application needs gloves! application was just as easy difficult/easy as other self tanners (i.e clarins which is invisible). The good thing is that you don't need to keep product on overnight i sh ...

I bought this because it's called 'Dark' lotion, but unfortunately I had to apply it 4 days in a row to get noticeable colour. It is easy to apply and not sticky but the guide colour disappears really quickly when you're blending it onto the skin so it's not as easy to get even results as with other tinted fake tans I've tried. The lotion smells good, but there's still that fake tan whiff when the tan develops. Definitely exfoliate before applying!

Yep, Xen-Tan Dark Tanning Lotion is without doubt the best one out there. Like so many others I've tried them all. Not really quite sure why people don't get on with it. As long as you follow the golden rules of, exfoliate, moisturise, apply with gloves and wait a few minutes until it dries, you CAN'T go wrong!

I bought Bronze Luxe Xen-Tan Dark Tanning Lotion....

I was expecting a super product, but no better than any other on the market. Colour is a regular fake tan colour, smell is a regualr fake tan smell that also lingers after showering. It seaps into drier areas like knees, elbows and knuckles despite promising that it won't.

Much better to go for a cheaper spray version. This is a disappointing product. You have to really be careful in applying it as i is likely to look uneven otherwise. ...

Fantastic tan from Xen-Tan Dark Tanning Lotion. Colour it gives you is very nice and natural for a fake tan. It smells delicious and the usual whiff you get from fake tans is not apparent with the xen-tan. I am very pale skinned and this dark lotion made me look healthy and like i had been on holiday. I usually struggle to get a decent colour from other tans but this was superb. I would highl recommend it. Make sure you exfoliate for a really smooth and streak free tan and do use vinyl gloves in ...

Bought Xen-Tan Dark Tanning Lotion at the weekend, having read the reviews. It is truly awful. It smells like a stale biscuit tin and as for streaking, it is appalling. My daughter and I both used it and thank goodness we only had the moisturiser/tanner - we both look a horrid orange colour, and smell like a bakery. I would suggest you don't believe the hype around this product. My daughter put it on for a special event and is so embarrassed by the result she can't go. The St Tropez Daily ...

Xen-Tan Dark Tanning Lotion is really easy to apply, gives a great even colour that really lasts! I think i've tried every fake tan under the sun and i'm sticking with this. No negative points at all, although make sure you use the gloves. Superb. Most natural looking tan i've ever seen!

So where do i start on this so called amazing product.... ok it smells nice but considering ive heard so many good things about Xen-Tan Dark Tanning Lotion i thought it was going to be amazing, so i ordered it and put it on one arm... and yes it lived up to its words of givig immediate colour but i didnt expect it to be a pinkish red sunburnt kind of colour(wheres the olive undertones they promised) personally i was very dissapointed so much that i actually sent this tanner back. Although everyo ...

    Really angry

I was totally confused which xen tan product to get, there are so many, dark lotion, bronze deluxe, luxe, transform luxe et al. No help by xen tan as to what is the difference. Staff in House of Frazer had no clue so i bought transform luxe as its "the latest" .

    well what a rip off,

after applyiong several times, no colour change, what i have bought is a very expensive moisturiser with no tanning effect.

    I want my money back.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS OVERPRICED TAT ...
