Earlier this year I began to have mild acne on my forehead consisting tiny little bumps and the occasional big pimple. I kept using mild salicylic acid acne treatments from companies such as Neutrogena and Clean&Clear but I found that they weren't really working. After trying Neutrogena Rapid Clear Acne Spot Gel and having it fail miserably I decided to go with something stronger: Panoxyl.

This stuff is really great! I picked the 2.5% BP because my acne was very mild but you actually get a ...

Had moderate acne for 20 years - tried everything short of laser treatment including several things from GP. Had this for 2 weeks and I have literally never looked so good! Dont be tempted to apply a lot or your face will feel like its burning all day and will get all dry and flaky. Also dont put it on your neck often - my neck went really sore and red so I go to just under my jawline and no further. Just a tiny thin coat each morning is all you need! Hardly had any new spots on face and th ...

My problem with spots is I always have large bumps on my face, which don't turn to whiteheads but are always there.
I've only applied this 3 times. Once a night for the past 3 days. Thankfully and I must say shockingly, I woke up after the first night I had applied it and the bumps had gone! My skin feels smooth now, no bumps!
My next goal is to keep using Panoxyl Aquagel 2.5 in order to get rid of scars. I have not suffered from the dryness I keep reading about on here. The only thing I must ...

I haven't been using Panoxyl Aquagel 2.5 for very long, I went through a stage during time of the month where my spots were very bad and my mum came back with this from the chemists. My spots have got better in most places, but my skin is increadibly dry at the moment! To add to that, I wear makeup and i just look awful at the moment.....reading these reviews has given me hope that it will get better though! So firstly be warned that your skin will probably get dry after you use it!

Panoxyl Aquagel 2.5 is really great, goes on nicely, and is much less drying and irritating than 5% Benzoyl Peroxide. Like the last reviewer pointed out it can cause your skin to become dry--to avoid this I apply this cream, then I wait 2-5 minutes to make sure the cream dries, and then apply some moisturizer. Doing this has really helped with any redness/flaky skin/tightness from being too dry. I think it's a great value for your money because all other drug store BP creams come in bottles that ...

I have been using this gel for ages now and I really wanted it to work. After reading all of the great reviews I though it would work. However, for me, I have not noticed that much of a change.
I found it very dissapointing considering the money that I spent.
For all people thinking of buying panoxyl aquagel, I think that sudocrem works better and is a fraction of the price.

Panoxyl is excellent! I have never written a review and never thought I would but this product is so effective I thought I should spread the word for those who are suffering from acne as I did. I'm 25 and have had acne around my chin area for the last 3 years. Ive tried all sorts of creams and herbal remedies but nothing cleared it up. (I stuck with using another brand for over three months with no results!!) I've been using Panoxyl 5 twice a day in small amounts for the past week and my acne ha ...

I'm currently using panoxyl aquagel 2.5 alongside antibiotics perscribed by my doctor. I have had persistant acne on my chin for ten years and more recently around my nose and on my forehead. So far I have not noticed much difference from the antibiotics, but the panoxyl has worked really well. The only hing about it is it causes severe drying of the skin in the first week. I guess this is why it works by drawing oil from the skin, but my drying was so bad I didn't go out for two days, as it loo ...

I used Panoxyl Aquagel after it was precribed by my doctor as i had quite bad acne across the sides of my faces and on my chin.
The first time i used this i could litrally see a difrence within 20mins of applying. The spots didnt look so red and genrally it looked better.
I continued to use this for 28 days along with a prescription of Tetralysal 300 (antibiotics) and my skin cleared up considerably.
I would definatly recommend this product, however to get best results use along side the Tetaly ...

I have acne and i must say the 1st few days i could see a difference using panoxyl aquagel, the only thing is it drys your face not bad though so you'llhave to make sure you cream your skin after putting on. if you have skin like me very oily skin. then sometimes you dont have to because my skin gets greasy within the hour by itself. but this is a very good product .e.g i could have a spot that might suddenly appear if you use the panoxyl it will dry it out within 2-3 days.

I had acne for around 2 years even though it was not really bad, sometimes i would have quite bad breakouts. I tryed all of the products like clearasil freederm etc.. nothing worked. The dr prescribed me with Aquagel 2.5 and after the first couple of uses it made a noticable improvement. It shrinks spots sometimes in a matter of hours.. the only thing is.. is dont use really excessively as it will make your face a little dry.
Overall this product worked really well, on me anyway.
    Would recommend ...

I only use panoxyl when my spots go really bad. however when i wake up the next morning, there are always red patches where i applied it and it itches. i would recommend people find something a bit lighter on the skin because this is too concentrated.

I used Panoxyl Aquagel 2.5 once on my face and woke up the next morning to find red patches all over the areas I've applied the gel on. My skin felt rough and dry and was really really itchy!! I may have used more than I should have but I highly doubt it would've made less of a difference if I had applied a smaller amount. The spots have slightly disappeared but has left scars. It's way too strong. It's been three days since I've last used it and my face is still red and itchy.
