I bought the Dirt Devil DD9602 as part of a package from Argos with an additional Dirt Devil cylinder and handheld vacuum. With a reasonable price and with so much extra I thought I was sure to be getting a bargain! How wrong could I be?
The vacuum worked reasonably well, as long as you emptied the dust container before it was actually full. In the first 8 months it had various broken parts as the plastic was not very durable. The main one being the release catch on the dust container, which made the thing incredibly hard to use after!
The cylinder vac had a broken wheel after only using it a couple of times - Poor plastic again.
The hand held vac was completely useless!! You could suck more up with a straw!
This is the second time I have bought a Dirt Devil vacuum, and I will never buy one again!!
RIP - The Dirt Devil DD9602 which lives on the tip!
