“Limobroker review limo hire”

Well all started ok. Week before was told either pay then or on day, thought then more incentive to perform. And should make payment to limo co direct (A-star cars) Couldnt get hold of the limo co initially but finally got through and payment could only be made by bank transfer (bells rang then but still done it) Day of event the car arrived as planned only 15 mins later than planned so not concerned. Us 8 got in and driven to london which was mostly closed due to a cycling event so we bailed out and walked. Coming out of theatre i get a text to say car broken down and to call alt no. For limo. No response from that no. So go back to nos on my booking form. The original one answers and tells me to get a cab, there were 8 of us 80 miles from home! So no chance i would pay for that expecting a refund! He then left it leavei it with me and i shall arrange a taxi. Half hour later, i get his voicemail. I phoned the alternative no on booking form and got a call back from another man. He also cant get hold of a-star cars and is digusted by their response so offers to drive us back home. 1 hour later our original car turns up driven by the second guy on his day off. I have no idea of his connection with A-star cars or limobrokers but just glad we all got home and with possessions we left. Not blaming limobookers here but they seriously need to vet who they have on their books! We made it from west end to liverpool st (£30 on tube) with a disabled person with no care for us to get home at all which is terrible. (My language is toned down for obvious reasons) If i was reading this AVOID AVOID AVOID and pay the extra to go to company direct

“Once they have your money they don't care - disappointing”

I was called by Limo Broker who offered to refund the deposit I paid as a 'goodwill gesture' on the condition that I removed my review - that doesn't sound like a goodwill gesture to me, and still no explanation as to how they will ensure no other customer will go through what I had to! No thank you. My experience with Limo Broker started off really well. They provided a competitive offer and were very helpful when I had queries and made a real effort to secure my business. Despite the reviews, I was impressed. I booked a deal for a one way trip into London for my sister's hen do - included was complimentary champagne and soft drinks since some of our party don't drink and decorations in the limo. My sister didn't know about the limo so it was all a surprise - this was also known to the company. All agreed and done and I paid for the booking in full - big mistake. After this point, they weren't interested. If I called with a query I wouldn't get a call back and was constantly chasing them. [Name] was my contact. I was worried but managed to get the number of the actual limo company (Wild Stretch Limos - who I wouldn't recommend either) providing the service and confirmed the details I needed to with them. The day arrives and these are the problems I found: 1. The limo turned up 3 hours before the pick up and parked itself at the end of the road my sister lived. It sat there for 3 hours! Needless to say, she saw it and guessed it was for her hen party that evening. Surprise ruined. 2. The limo was so dirty both inside and out - it was a white hummer and had mud splashes all over the outside. When I asked the driver about it he said 'that's what happens when you drive it around all day'. Inside there were remnants of the previous occupants - empty drinks cans and plastic fruit containers. Not impressed. Especially when he'd had 3 HOURS to clean it up beforehand!!! 3. No decorations had been put up - when asked about this the driver said he hadn't got round to it, despite being there for 3 hours beforehand. Anyway he eventually put the 'decorations' up - one banner that said Hen Party. I was so disappointed - if I had known this was what we were getting I would have arranged my own decorations. 4. Despite confirming that we would get soft drinks as well as champagne since we had non-drinkers in our party, we got none. That meant some of the girls had nothing to drink on the journey. When asked, the driver said he didn't have any. Nothing else.  Overall, I was very disappointed with the level of service we received despite having paid almost £300 for it all. Our evening didn't start greatly with the awful service we received but luckily it didn't ruin our night since we hadn't booked them for the way home. To make matters worse, I was contacted for my feedback by the Quality Manager [Name] for my comments, and despite his apparent shock at our experience and promising to get back to me with an explanation, I haven't heard from him. I have chased once, but haven't since and don't believe I should need to. Terrible terrible customer service.  I was waiting to hear back from them before writing my review and give them a chance to redeem themselves but given it's been two months I decided to write to anyway. Do yourselves a favour and book elsewhere!
