    Good Points: Very nice and friendly staff
    Beautiful spa facilities
    Many therapies
    Indoor pool
    Fully equipped gym


    Bad Points: Not near the beach (15 minutes by car)


    General comments: In July 2006 I stayed for ten days at Sol Andalusi in Malaga to attend a detox or colon cleansing vacation program organised by Vortex Vital.

    Vortex Vital is located at Sol Andalusi, and they are well known for their alternative therapies and wellness programs, and it was recommended by a friend who attended the program and some other therapies before.

    Sol Andalusi is a very nice and comfortable health resort in Alhaurin de la Torre, near Malaga, but not near the beach.

    I was pleasantly surprised by the Spa and Spa treatments, as well by the accommodation they offer.

    I choose a 1 bedroom apartment because it had a nice terrace, and it was more comfortable for the colonics I had during the detox program.

    They also offer studio apartments, but they do not have a terrace, and a colonic I is not possible in your own bathroom.

    Sol Andalusi has a very nice pool, and it was never very crowded, although it was July.

    I also went for some trips to a local market and to Malaga city centre for shopping, which was arranged in a very good way by their own transportation.

    I also tried the Los Olivos restaurant at Sol Andalusi on my arrival day, and they were even offering pre cleansing menus.
    I had steamed vegetables that were divine, and some fruit for dessert, and all for less then 10 Euros.

    For me, the whole wellness vacation was a very good experience, and I will go back next year for another cleansing program.
