    Good Points: The staff are very friendly and efficient with their service, also they are all able to speak at least a basic level of english and other languages which is helpful. The food provided is excellent as you can choose what you want from a great selection at the buffet. Also the location of the hotel is in a great part of town. The supermarket is walking distance as are many other stores and clubs.


    Bad Points: You have to pay extra if you want to use the fitness centre, air conditioning and drinks with dinner.


    General comments: The staff at the Hotel Merriment are very friendly and efficient with their service, also they are all able to speak at least a basic level of english and other languages which is helpful.
    It is a good hotel and I could definitely stay here again.

    Last year we spent a week in the Merriment hotel. The hotel staff where quite polite. The room was always nicely cleaned for us everyday. Pool seemed clean, rooms where clean staff where polite enough. When we woke and opened are balcony doors we got a very unpleasant smell in the air. I would best describe it as rotten eggs I think it was due to the ventilation box which was on the wall directly opposite us. However when you reached the pool area the smell faded.
