    Good Points: Very good location on beach. Good bus connections from Gumbet to Bodrum and further afield for the traveller who likes to explore. Hotel and rooms very clean, staff very friendly.


    Bad Points: Confusion in restaurant on the rooftop when very busy, people not knowing where to sit, especially when the weather turns cooler in the evenings. Although the dogs were quite friendly, they should not have been on the beach, I say this because there was a dog fight when we were there.


    General comments: Lovely hotel, entertainment better than expected. Only found the sister hotel after a week, as were very happy in the Royal Asarlik side of the hotel. However it was just around the corner and had a quieter beach area. Mind it was October and the weather was fabulous and not too many children about. Never went into the swimming pool, as I believe it was cold, the sea was warm and good for snorkling, with lots of fish to see. Did a boat trip that was very enjoyable, again not too crowded, however did not go on the day planned as the weather was dull, so arranged for another day, (not booked through hotel).

    The waiters were beginning to get fed up because it was end of season. Food was cold and there were lots of flies around. We went to this hotel the Royal Asarlik Beach last year and really enjoyed it. Everything seemed good. But it has really taken a nose dive this year and I would never return!!!!
