    Good Points: A very pleasant hotel with lots of space and pretty gardens. The staff are happy and friendly. We stayed 18th Jan 08. Not many people there so a little to quiet for us.


    Bad Points: No free snacks! In between meal times we had to pay for any snacks. This was disappointing as we were all inclusive and it had been advertised as free. The entertainment was non existent during the day and what little entertainment they had in the evening mainly rubbish, it ususally started at 9pm and finished at 9.50pm after that there was nothing except for two nights a karaoke followed until 11pm.


    General comments: It was nice if you want a very quiet holiday away from it all as there is nothing to do in the small village that surrounds it. The waiters are very amusing and friendly and to be honest they were very entertaining with their humor. VeronicaOne of them should be part of the entertainment programe as she spends a lot of time trying to encourage people on the karaoke.

    We enjoyed our holiday but the tight fisted attitude re food, soap, shampoo etc. which we have never encountered before, spoilt the overall experience. I would mention I am an arthritic 70+ and although pretty active found getting suitcases up 3 floors of not very wide steep stairs a bit hard going. I asked if there was a lift and was told they didn't do lifts.Certainly will never go to Callao Gardens again on one in their chain. Would not mind going th Callao Salvaje again.
