Good Points: reliable, rugged, light, plenty of power
Bad Points: not found
General comments: Hi Folks,
I have great time with my SUPERSPORT K in 25. cal but i also wanted a 177. so i purchased the LIGHTNING version. I'm Happy cos the silencer works great and reduces noise significantly.
The short barrel doesn't affect accuracy and after a few days this great toy has already guned-down some nasty Croa Croa Stukas.
BSA air-rifles are the best i've tried - better for me than the DIANA/RWS, i own a more expensive Model 46 (177.) but it's less powerful and there's plastic parts everywhere (nice rifle anyway).
I think that the LIGHTNING is somewhere in the 15/16 FT/P, it doesn't have the punch of my SUPERSPORT K or STUTZEN RB2 in 25. cal but i'm saving money on pellets.
I know that BSA is owned by Gamo but i can't compare the rifles, i've tried a CF30 and it's cheapo-garbage. Thanks BSA & God Saves The Queen.
Regards
Chris*

It didnt come without its problems though, the safety didnt work out of the box but was quickly remedied by the dealer I got it from.
It cost me £300 with a 3-9x40 fitted to it, I have put around 50,000 .22 pellets through it and it is doing a steady 18ftlbs now with a Theoben gas strut in it. I ...
