    Unbelievable company STAY AWAY at all costs!

    Item ordered when they told me it was actually in stock (Bissell Pro-Heat Carpet Cleaner) - item hadn't arrived after 2 weeks so I began chasing. Was told that more stock would be available on 8th December at the latest. Called again on December 7th and was then told that there were 23 customers ahead of me and that it would be December 14th before more stock was avaialable and even then couldn't be certain that my item would be shipped by that date.

    I asked to speak to a supervisor/manager and was told there wasn't one!!!! The guy on the phone claimed that he did everything and there wasn'nt anyone else I could take the matter up with. Unbelievable response from supposedly a reputable company. Just to rub salt into the wounds - I cancelled my order and was told that it would take 7 to 10 days for them to process a refund!

    I will NEVER, EVER order from this company again and would suggest that you look elsewhere.

    Kaleidoscope is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I ordered a futon from them which they promised to deliver within 28 days. They charged me promptly on the day when the order was made through their website, and since then I have never heard from them. I made endless calls to the customer services chasing the futon, and they never contacted me back to let me know what is happening.     Not even worth a 1 star, the goods are normally wrongly sized, size 16 wouldnt fit my size 12 daughter, delivery is ok, try to return not a chance, on one occassion tried 5 times to return, customer services staff not good comments like 'I am telling you like it is' Stay away there is mushc better quality goods out there.

    + friendly staff at the call center, quick delivery

    - they have to improve their courire service...

    inreally liked the quality of the product and the value for money offer - they really have stuff you dont find on the High Street

    I do not recommend Kaleidoscope.
    First of all they did not honour their 10% off discount for new customers. Secondly, the product I bought was not correct (dimensions wrong on website).
    Thirdly, when I finally got through to a person on their customer service number, twice the courier never showed for collection and did not leave a note.
    Finally, they have claimed they have refunded my purchase but not for the full amount (did not include shipping) and this has taken more than a month to sort ...

    Kaleidoscope is the worst catalogue company I have ever dealt with in terms of customer service. When they offer a discount or free P&P you do not get it for 2 months so you have to pay full price then await a credit. They even asked me to prove that I had received a special offer. They do not respond to correspondence, and argue profusely on the phone. They are also very expensive.

    I have never written a review for any company or any product. In this instance I feel compelled.
    Kaleidoscope customer service frankly does not exist. I have yet to recieve the goods I have ordered (it doesn't tell you on the website that the goods are out of stock). Not once has anyone at Kaleidoscope contacted me in this regard, I have always been the one to make contact.     I do not normally write reviews of any company but I am awfully angry and disapponted with Kaleidoscope!
    I just want to warn you to STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

    There is no customer service at all!!
    I had to keep chasing them and it cost me £ 10.00 because I have not received the products (for 4 weeks!!!!) and then for the refund that I still have not received( 3 weeks!!!)!!!!

    The dress that I received was SOOOOO oversized!

    Kaleidoscope sent a 'substitution' without my knowledge. Model sent was inferior, both in terms of recommended retail price and produ ctreviews, and also a model that could not be considered an equal in terms of functionality. Website still states that model I ordered is 'in stock'.

    Customer services argued I had received what I had ordered, even though model received is not on the website! Have to wait over a week for large box to be collected, and to get a refund...

    We have been waiting for furniture for over 3 months which has come and gone in and out of stock according to the online service. They could not find our order several times and had canceled it on another. No one on the telephone was very helpful and when we were promised a couple of the 10 items i took the day off work to wait for delivery and when we called they had no record of our order again and that no delivery was booked.     When I wrote to them about my order upon placing it, they replied that I was writing too soon and should re-submit my enquiry in 48 hours!!! Ridiculous! And when I did so they said that my order had already been cancelled!
    And similar things have happened a few times.
    will never order from them again.

    Delivery took forever, when it arrived it was just left on the doorstep for anybody to take. Returning items has been a nightmare. Had to wait over a week for a collection and have now waited 5 weeks for a refund I've sent them proof of the return. I would not recommend them.

    My only regret now is that i never spoke with people in work or searched the net for reviews before i placed my order.

    All i can say is never again.

    I ordered online which was easy however when it came to delivery this was a different matter. I live down a road that is private i.e not council maintained and the delivery vechicle would not deliver! Add this to the fact that they didn't even tell me they wouldn't deliver - three times I tried to get the same red dress. It was only after ringing numerous times that I got to the bottom of it.     My experience of Kaleidoscope was that customer service was awful. I have never worked with people who seem so incompetent and rude. I thought the quality of products received was very, very poor.
    Tried to return an item, no one came to collect it, so I wasted few days sitting at home all day for them to turn up and they never did.     I placed an order and rcvd only an email to comfirm with an Ref number and a telephone number - BOTH of which turned out to be incorrect as far as I am aware. Worried that these people had my credit card details I asked them via a phone call to email me a corrected invoice for my purchase and the current state of delivery... that was too much to ask for in my opinion even though I'd even explained what my problem was.     I would advise people not to use them. The good are of poor quality, despite being portrayed as good quality and the service is absolutey atrocious.

    You would be better using a company who have proved their reputation.

    Kaleidoscope sometimes has some interesting styles but they are expensive for the quality; pricey 0870 numbers for ordering, returns, etc.! Hit-and-miss collection of parcels for return and unhelpful customer service, plus no refund of postage costs (£3.50+).

    Best to avoid - there are many other catalogues without the above pitfalls and which have equally good stuff.
