I went to car craft expecting to look at some cars but not the harassment from the salesman who wouldn't even let me get past him to look at the cars. When I finally did I was followed around and bombarded with even more questions. I promptly left. You'd be better of going to a proper dealer to get a better car and an even better price. As I did.

Bought car in March, pay the extra n.e.c cover on it per £40 month, had countless problems with them and only get it rectified if i go into the Carcraft service centre in person and pester them. With the n.e.c you have to have the car serviced within 6 months, had it done up at Carcraft and am told it has nearly £800 worth of work to do on it even though they only sold me it less than 6 months earlier. Then to be told "we are only obliged to sell them at mot standard" haha.....never ...

I recently bought a car from Carcraft in Knowsley, Liverpool. The salesmen appear very overly keen and pushy. After a lot of negotiating and not willing to budge on the price, because it was my dream car I agreed to buy it - for them only to moan because I was paying by cash and they had to count it out! Having agreed to put 12 months MOT on the car, when I picked the car up the next day one of my alloy wheels was extremely damaged! After my complaint and them agreeing to refurb the wheel whic ...

Car was sold faulty and back with Carcraft Lakeside within 2 weeks.. it then took them 22 days to replace a turbo and intercooler. Customer services offered us a service voucher for Carcraft as compensation for a long stressful experience with them. I am a little worried about redeeming this at Lakeside though as the car was returned MINUS MY TOMTOM SATNAV. I alerted them of this and they said there is nothing they need to do legally as I cannot prove that it was in the car. Please take noti ...

My wife and I travelled to the Carcraft site in Newport Gwent near the sports village and we were pleasantly met by a sales lady, she enquired as to what type of car we wanted and what budget we had in mind and soon after we were test driving a ford mondeo tdci , 57 plate with only 14500 miles on the clock. After the test drive we negotiated the price with her manager who was very nice and not pushy in any way and agreed on £6850 including an excellent price for our old car, which we both f ...

i havent enough space or time to write all the problems ive had and am still having with this outrageous company. basically i bought a wonderful car but after 2 weeks needed a service due to faulty airbags and after that 3 weeks later a new clutch!! Carcraft are so so poor im in complete disbelief that they are still able to trade. i would rather walk than have any agreements with them. also the insurance isnt compulsary and when you need to use it they say its wear and tear!! from the numerous ...

i recently bought a 08 ford focus with 22800 miles on the clock , the car was immaculate and the Carcraft salesman did not really have to sell me the car , i arranged to pick the car up , its here where the hard sell of the warranty begins! 40 mins of reasons why you should take the warranty , then negotions of freebees, free breakdown cover , ie 6 months tax , free service etc, eventually and reluctantly i made a "deal" to have my car serviced and a reduction in the initial price of the 3 year ...

they tell you you must have the insurance- you dont- when your car needs a new gear box after 3 weeks of buying it isnt covered under wear and tear!. you get no warranty unless you buy there insurance. i have now taken 4 days off of work in the last 3 weeks because of continued problems with the car. also make sure you no exactly what total intrest you are paying. ask them to show you it before you sign. i was shown 1 intrest rate and the one i ended up signing was different. honestly i have ha ...

Overall Carcraft is a typical 2nd hand car supermarket, all spit and polish on the surface trying to diguise overpriced poor quality cars available on easy finance, would not purchase from here again no matter how many cheesy adverts they put on TV

Carcraft are so overpriced you wouldn't believe it. They push you into a car sale you wish you'd never done.

Please be aware and go armed with research about car prices, part-exchange rates and how you are going to pay.

My car was broken two weeks ago. There are broken belt and some other parts. Carcraft taken my car for repair. The warranty, which I bought from Carcraft (under pressing), doesn't cover that issue.

All cars at Carcraft are overpriced by about 20%. Total rip-off merchants. Avoid like the plague unless you're desperate for credit and can't get it elsewhere.

don't believe the Carcraft online valuation as this is a ploy to get you into the sales room, my car is 6 years old and is in lovely condition. They discounted the valuation by over £600 based on two scuffs on alloy wheels that were an extra on my car and a slight scratch by the boot. The car I wanted to purchase was in worse condition than mine.

Carcraft is a great place to go and see a variety of cars. Not a place I would seek finance from. Seemed quick to take the £100 fee to enable them to find you a guaranteed same day loan. Took me many e-mails, phone calls and nearly 6 weeks to get my money back after they failed to find me a loan.

My car had a chip in the windscreen when collected it but reported before I even switched the engine on. "not a problem sir we will call you tommorrow and get it sorted" dispite several phone calls to various numbers tomorrow has never come even after 6 months?
I've given a 1 rating as I could find the showroom easily but there again was that a good thing?

Carcraft are in my opinion con merchants, I was mislead about the car and the finance payments, payed a lot of money for a rubbish car, no after sales, absolute disgrace.
Never again would I go near this place, full of con men, I feel I was cheated and robbed.

I feel I have been badly informed on 3 occasions. I got my car through U Can car credit at Carcraft.
1st I was under the impression I could pay weekly as that was important. WRONG
2nd he said it was £46 per week and I actually pay £202 month WRONG
3rd he said I could pay the whole amount off anytime without a fine WRONG
If I had of known this I would have thought 3 times not twice. I knew what the interest was like but hey come on a 3 grand car for 9 grand!
    What a bargain! NOT!

I bought the car, drove it to buy the road tax, I found out that one headlight and one fog light was not working, the wiper reservoir was also empty, although this was rectified after the complaint, I have come to a conclusion that this 120 point check is not thorough enough.
