I am left furious after my experience with Carcraft Leeds! I was encouraged and coherced into buying a totally unsuitable car in the first place. Stupid and niave of me! I purchased a car from car craft Trafford park. With a couple of weeks the car was faulty so I took it bac for repairs try assured me it was ok now and fixed on my way home it happened again. My Husband and I went to carcraft in lakeside Thurrock just to look at 7 seater cars when we got there the sales man took us over to the 7 seater cars, we saw the cheapest car a Vauxhall zafira life priced at £9,999 and when we said we wanted to see if we could get it on finance we new we would be paying a lot more but when we worked it out after agreeing to it, it is gonna cost us a massive £18,000 by the end of it, we also got a extra bit where anything goes wrong with it they will fix... Hi I bought a Citreon C3 from LAkeside and i've had loads of problems.... I bought the car in october at 24000miles in march there was a faulty water pump which made the cambelt snap causing masses amounts of damage.
I had warrenty on the car and had to argue to get a curtesy car and to even get the car fixed. 8 wks it took to fix and rebuild the engine.
At no point duren this were they helpful or even apologetic.
When i picked the car up i had it back for about 10 days and they water pump went again... so another trip and another 3 wks with no car.
finally got it back and have a few problems here and there.
However, last week i brought it in to have a full Service and MOT i dropped it off Thursday and i'm still waiting.
They are the biggest pain in my arse i know! they have no customer care and are rude i bout the car for about £5,999 and im paying back about £12k rip off worst mistake i've ever made

Please report this to Trading Standards I hear CarShaft because that's what I believe them to be, make sure you document and note down everything, I'd also be on the phone to the finance company and making an official complaint. Don't bother ringing the customer services departments as complaints are never taken seriously instead write and express your dissatisfaction to the CEO. I am so glad I didn't buy a car from them as well the after sales is the worst of it's kind. I would advise you to do what I have stated and they'll soon be able to put things right. It really bugs me how car craft can get away with ripping people off and yet not one regulatory body has stepped in they need shutting down!

our car is back with car craft haven't had use of my car so far its been a week and a half this time we kept losing water and we told car craft and they said we had to drive the car across the water over 13 + miles away to them when we tried to drive the car a few miles it ran out of water so we called the rac and they told us the head gasgot and that the engine would have to be taken apart to fix it they said it would cost between £800 - £900 luckily we have a warranty to cover this and rac towed the car to car craft. they got the car on Thursday and we don't no when we will get the car back. so far we have had the car for 4 and a half months and we have only had use out of it for about 3 and a half months. we have not been given another car to use and we are having a nightmare with no car. I just hope that other people will learn from our nightmare with car craft by reading these comments. hope you get your car all sorted

Bought a car almost 2 years ago. They didn't provide any service history and soon car broke down. Took to the garage cause I'm paying £50 a month for a service and they hold the car for 3 weeks! Freshly duped, today. The car bought this month is OVERPRICED for the mileage, they misrepresented the mileage details, wouldn't take back the car, and got us finance which turns out to be too expensive. They twist the facts. Stay away from Carcraft and save yourselves a king's fortune. This is my honest review, and remember FiveStar ratings can be fake sometimes. I bought a car from Carcraft in May 2012. The gearbox failed in March 2013, however they refused to honour any form of payment under their so-called Comprehensive Warranty. The car had not been serviced by Carcraft prior to my purchase and they had done a very poor paint-job prior to sale. Be careful. 2.5 years ago got a Vectra from Carcraft, last year learned it had an accident and doors were replaced. Before buying it I had specifically asked about its history/insurance etc. and was assured it was clean. The doors started rusting because of some idiot who didn't do proper sealing. This month decided to part-exchange, got mislead by being overcharged by way of getting a car with a higher mileage, and wouldn't take it back.

Right from the off they were pushy with sales, forcing us to take a test drive and told us the car was 9,999 when online it says 8,999. Like the car comes with a free 2 year warranty lies it was a worthless 4 year one they added to the credit agreements £2000 on top but did not tell me. Bought a renault megane and within 6 months needed new brakes which costed a lot!!!!!!!! Was told by a garage that for its age and mileage the breaks shouldn't be that bad to the point if I drove it any more they won't stop the car!!!! ( I have 2 babies). Now year later my other brakes now need doing and I have a big trouble with the engine!!!! They sell rubbish and don't back up any of there claimed warrantys. You need to report them to trading standards and email the BBC watchdog as they are still up to there old tricks. I have told loads about how they have ripped me off and put posters up in my work (over 1000 employed) to tell anyone wanting a car not to go to car craft and to check reviews first.

Make as much noise as u can and don't let them get away with it. I have stopped paying my top up lone till they remove the fake warranty they added to my credit agreement without my asking. Drive happy! My ars# .
The Rochdale jobby was the one that ripped me off.
All in one finance is ownd by car craft and so is n.a.c fake warrantys
So if u have been riped off by them dont pay ur topup lones and if they take u to court which I don't think they will as they don't stand a chance with there track record . I am not going to let it lie. Next stop with be to make a lot of noise out side there show rooms on a Saturday afternoon.

Gave the details of car online and received valuation of between £3760-£4760. Trafford Carcraft rang us inviting us down for correct value between these 2 figures. Arrived to be told by the salesman the valuation was £2600 without them even inspecting the car!! When asked to see the manager for wasting my time he says he told his salesman to quote that figure "because you refused to give him the mileage" Now I might be a tad slow at my age but why on earth would I refuse to give the... That's the same as what they done to me but I will not go away! Refuse to pay the all in one finance payments till they remove the renamed NAC warranty and if they try and take u to court fight it all the way and u will win.
They sell rubbish and don't back up any of there claimed warrantys. You need to report them to trading standards and email the BBC watchdog as they are still up to there old tricks.
Tell all ur mates put anyone off going there make loads of noise don't ring just email and via recorded delivery. Don't let them get away with it

yes i walked into carcraft and was given a very pleasant welcome.icdid not know what car i wanted but they gave me time to look round and were very patient with me. They spent about 2 hours showing me diferent cars and nothing was to much bother. I picked a ford mondao. They said when it is ready for m.o.t we will do this in its first year and they did. Chose the car we wanted on the Internet. They came and picked us up at home. Took us to the depot, were everything went smoothly, and we drove home with our new car. Excellent. Good service. Enfield were awful! Rude! Rude! Rude! At every stage. I had bad credit so had little option other than financing through a bad credit company. Car is nice. So far no problems. But once my credit has improved I would never return. If you have another choice. Stay away! They're disgusting. Zero customer service. (read more)

Have you tried contacting Trading Standards? Send them a letter and make an official complaint to the finance company, I have read somewhere that if the car company aren't willing to help then you can maybe raise the complaint with the finance company. Also if I was you I'd email the CEO of CarCraft the email address I did when I wanted my deposit back and they even sent a letter last week apologizing. I believe you when you say they are the worst finance company around they prey on the vulnerable and they charge the earth. I really do hope you get your car sorted out, they tried to sell me a 2007 car for £12K when the same car on ebay is only worth £3k if that isn't a rip off I don't know what is. They act all nice when you choose a car and are happy to take your money but as soon as the car starts having problems they don't want to know. If you need any further help I'd be happy to help you x
