we have just returned from the best holiday we have ever had, we went to the nergis beach club in marmaris in turkey and we couldn't find fault with anything, the staff were helpful and friendly , the food was great, the hotel was spotless the entertainement was a little bit dissapointing but other than that it was the best hoilday the four of us have ever had, so much so that we are planning on going back next year 2010, the thomas cook rep was also great and very informative, it was fabulous, ...

Recently spent 2 weeks at Le'toile beach Hotel, Icmeler, Turkey.Hotel great but avoid room 206.Antiquated bathroom and the room stank of cigarettes.Moved to room 527 brilliant but lost 2 days of holiday. Food not worthy of 4*it let an otherwise excellent hotel down. Would recommend if there was a great improvement in the food standard.

I have just returned from a week in Zante with my wife& 6yr old son with Thomas Cook. While the hotel was fantastic (Hotel Caravel in Tsilivi) including food, comfort&location everything else to do with thomas cook was terrible, flight was delayed going out, 1st it was an hr late due to plane coming in on a night flight from Las Palmas then once they got everyone on board they decided couple of computers on flight deck needed replacing these had to come from Heathrow so that delay became 2and a h ...

thomas cooks deserves no stars what so ever, in march i booked a once in a lifetime holiday to florida with my family to celebrate my 50th birthday.
whilst booking i asked about the seating on the plane as my children had never flown so far and my husband is a very nervous flier i asked if i had to pay to reserve seats together, cooks said virgin would sort it out, i called into my tc office on several occasions to check the seats and were told you couldnt book seats unitl tickets, were iss ...

Compestella beach apartments - we went in April 2009, it was a family holiday and with the price of euros being high, we were not pleased when we found that we had to pay for the use of the tv 1 euro per hour. The showers did not work and if you wanted to have a bath you had to wait for the water to reheat itself, which with having children with us was not appropiate and i personally found it disgraceful considering we had payed 4 00pound each for a one bedroomed apartment self catering.

    Pay ...

It has no tea or coffee facilities in the room. The room is kept clean, but the windows are filthey from heavy trafic. combined with dirt make it imposible to sit on the veranda The self serv breakfast has a good choice but the evening meal is very poor. Soup is hot but everything else poor quality and only look warm with only one veg . The sweet is repetetive ...

It felt like there was so little room for passengers on my Thomas Cook flight that I was unable to read a magazine. I paid top price and traveled on an aircraft with helpful and hardworking cabin staff, but was so cramped that I thought I was on a budget flight. I am 6'5'' tall and my legs felt like they were forced against the seat in front. In my opinion it was the most uncomfortable of flights I have ever endured. The flight was made worse by the delays caused by heavy snow fall which we ...

I have tried to get an answer on the telephone from Thomas Cook and also sent emails, all to no avail yet for me. How can you get them to answer your calls without having to hang on listening to dull music? I have spent over one and a half hours trying to get someone to add an overnight stay at an airport hotel, but no-one seems to answer my telephone calls. I will not be booking with messrs thomas cook again - ever!

Spent £12 on 0871 customer service numbers, unhelpful in my opinion, on hold for the whole time. Wrote 10 emails to which they say they will answer in 24hrs, two answered, eight ignored as far as I am aware. LOST all records of my £1200 payment, I had to prove payment. All this because a member of my party broke his back and I requested a 50% refund as was my right within the time frame laid out in the contract, but Thomas Cook denied all record of my calls, luckily I had recorded ...

Thomas Cook's customer service dept is not bad it is abysmal. Not only could i not get a straight answer to a request but after many letters they even get the request wrong. If they promise to call you back do not believe them and do not even try to contact the person who signs the letter. I have been trying to sort out a credit card problem with them and it has become a joke among my family and friends. The most recent letter from Mr Cook has left me with the confirmed view that T C does not car ...
