I've had to borrow a couple of my Dad's garage cars whilst my Polo (1.4) was being fixed acouple of times. I was charged £25 everytime and whatever else they wanted to chuck in on top of what I was already paying. I couldn't leave as I knew deep down; my no claims would be stolen by them if I cancelled. One of the staff made me cry when I asked to speak to a manager, when my insurance went from £71 to £91 a month (over 6-7months, I believe), because I had to change my car to a 1.2 Corsa for 1...

Had 2 vehicles covered by Endsliegh, both on leases. The leases expired in April and we decided to buy two different vehicles outright. Called Endsliegh for a quite, then for peace of mind called a few others. Astonished to find that Endsleigh were over twice the cost of ANYONE else. Called Endlsliegh back, very unhelpful chap offered to reduce the quote by £70. Said no thanks and immediately got the 'well there are cancellation and loss of commission charges because you have auto renewed in January'...

My partner Insured with Endsleigh in September 2011. She retired in November of the same year & contacted Endsleigh to inform them of this, hoping that her insurance would be cheaper. Instead they said they would charge her an extra £71.22 because they said, wait for it...THEY THINK SHE WOULD BE USING HER CAR MORE, BY DRIVING AROUND RANDOM STREETS SHE DIDN'T KNOW,WHILST LOOKING FOR JOBS & THEREFORE WOULD BE MORE LIKELY TO BE INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT !! He immediately got out of the vehicle and said he was sorry but he didnt see me However his passengers demeanour was very different He suggested that it was my fault and was very aggressive to myself and my passengers After a somewhat heated discussion we decided to...

I was fairly happy with the level of service provided by Endsleigh in general, customer service was quite good. I didn't have to make any claims except for a windscreen claim (which was cheap, easy to arrange, and speedy to get fixed, and also did not affect my no claims). The issue came when after my first year the renewal notice came through, it was twice the amount of the previous year! Now i expect prices to rise each year due to increased costs, inflation etc, but that was excessive. I called...

We have purchased a motor insurance with Endsleigh as the price was very attractive without having any previous experience with this company. In September we had a collision when third party drove into our rear – very simple claim as we have thought – unfortunately nothing is simple with Endsleigh. Idiot drove into the back of me and that was when my trouble started: It took them 3 weeks to authorise my repair The body shop took 4 weeks to replace a bumper my holiday plans had to be rearranged because my own car was out of action. The solicitors are terrible: Never return calls, always 'at lunch', 'in a meeting', 'on holiday' or 'not at desk'. they made it clear from the start that they didn't belive my version of events even though the 3rd party hit me in the rear! It took them 6 weeks to...

Endsleigh were fantastic when I was a student, excellent service good value for money especially as it was my first insurance on my car and being a student didn't have a lot of spare cash. However, as soon as I graduated they seemed to switch. the cost is extortionate, going up back at least £10 a year and then my latest renewal quote upping my monthly payment from £46 to £85!!!! Endsleigh are better than most of the others. At 23 my daughter purchased the student bonus accelerator car insurance policy in October 2009 for her first car, a 2006 Clio. After 6 months she renewed with 12 months no-claims discount, for £550. In January 2011 she skidded an black ice and wrote off her car and an oncoming van, injuring herself and the other driver. We found the Endsleigh claim team to be both sympathetic and efficient, issuing a cheque for an initial low valauation within...

After over 10 years loyalty when it came to trying to reason with them over a claim so that i felt i was being treated fairly all i received was bog standard letters and veiled threats.
