    I was told late at night my car would be delivered first thing next morning, being a new driver i was dying to get out and drive it. Endsleigh were the only company i could catch at such a late time around 8.30 so i accepted there very expensive quote of just over £120 a month third party fire and theft because it was within by budget. After 6 months with this car i decided to go for finance and bought a car with a 1.1 engine i called endsleigh to update my policy and they asked me for yet more money. I am now paying £149 a month just for renewing my car with a smaller engine. The only reason i did not cancel policy was due to being half way there with my no claims bonus. Today i recieved my letter to renew my tax disk but can not find my new policy anywhere so i decided to call endsleigh to have a new one sent out. The woman on the phone stated i would have to pay another £20 for the policy. I questioned this as everytime you call endsleigh they are looking for more money. The lady was quiet cheeky on the phone. In the end i decided i would just renew over the telephone to save anymore hassle. i would not recommend this insurance company to anyone i can't wait until january until mine is ready for renewal.

    Last Feb 2009, I helped my daughter to pay her first payment with my debit card,I told the person quite plainly that I am only paying the first payment of this, all other payments will be paid by direct debit from her bank account, the person assured me that they will only use this for the first payment because I have not given permission to do otherwise. a few days later my daughter found a better quote from a better insurance Co, it was almost 70% cheaper, today (15/05/09) at 10;57hrs Endsleig ...

    Went with Endsleigh as it was the cheapes quote through a comparison website. Previously, was with Kwik Fit but was too expensive so changed over. Being a 21 yr old woman, insurance can be a bit on the expensive side, but I have had no problems at all with Endsleigh. I encountered a cracked window a few weeks ago (kids and stones) I phoned them up, and they put me through to RAC window repairs and a guy came out the next day and fixed it.     Endsleigh is the worst insurance company ever in my opinion. The price i was given just after passing my test was quite expensive, they rang me back telling me if i took pass plus after taking insurance out they would lower my insurance by 900 pound. They told me i had no limit on how long I had to send them my certificate, I even asked them and they told me I didn't.     Got comprehensive car insurance through Endsleigh in 2007/8. Non fault accident occurred & car taken off for repairs.

    Car brought back following repairs with the engine warning light on, malfunctioning brakes and juddering when being driven. Garage and Endsleigh informed immediately, to be told that it's nothing to do with the accident or repairs, so get your car serviced (last done 3 months ago).

    i got a quote through one of these 'confused.com' type websites. although they weren't the cheapest, I took them because they have a branch about 5 mins from my flat.     I was involved in an accident on the M25 where another person drove into the back of me while sat in still traffic. I passed on the 3rd partys vehicle reg number, name/address & tel Number to Endsleigh. I have had nothing but trouble since day one.     I had bought a car 6 months ago which came with a years free insurance from Endsleigh, I have since changed the car and tried to change my policy to the new car. I was told that since I have only been driving 1 year and 7 months they will not insure me for my new car at all!!!!

    Old car was a 1.6 Scenic, new car is a 1.8 Zafira.

    Realised that Endsleigh had put the wrong year of make on the policy..i called to ask to change the year and they said it would cost me £230 extra..I tried to argue as much as possible but because my insurance was done over the phone I didn't have a leg to stand on..I tried to call them many times but was passed onto loads of different people!     I have started a new job and I need to use my car for work but Endsleigh will not let me upgrade my policy to include business.
    "Computer Says No". I have tried everything to get it included but they will not budge. They then told me I was not covered for the commute to work and if I wanted it I would have to pay £ 64

    Got a quote from Endsleigh Car Insurance which was too good to be true. I'm a 21 year old male driver, with 1 years NCB and a new used 1600cc ford focus hatchback.

    When I tried to buy car insurance from Endsleigh, their quote was the cheapest, but their online system did not work. So I phoned to provide the information required and they issued a cover note. On receipt, the cover note had several errors on it, despite me providing the correct information. I phoned again to correct the information and they issued a second cover note.     On the 24/10/06 we were involved in an accident on the M6. On informing our insurance company that the car had been pushed sideways, they told me my car would be picked up by Erdington Accident Repair Centre the following day. I was not given a choice of where to take my car.

    In their correspondence, the phone number is an office in your area. If you phone the number you are quite likely to get the person whose name is on the letter. They know what they are doing and sort your problem out on the spot.
    Endsleigh car insurance were able to sort out a kind of insurance 'Catch 22' which arose when I bought insurance and a car for my daughter (can't remember the details), which saved a great deal of inconvenience in moving the car up to Manchester.

    With two months to run on my Endsleigh car insurance policy, I got a new job which included a company car as part of the package. By the time I had sold my old car, the policy had almost expired, so I didn't bother cancelling. I telephoned Endsleigh to inform them that I wouldn't be renewing, as I no longer required personal car insurance.

    Endsleigh Car Insurance - It just seems a shame that when you come to cancell with them their attitude is so much different. On ringing again i was put through to Stephen at the London branch and he was a lot more helpful and cancelled it right away however £50.00 just to cancel a policy is extortionate

    I had a car accident which involved me writing of my own car and the other car, and damaging 2 other cars, so obviously I made an insurance claim to Endsleigh. Months after the claim I got letters from the third parties insurance companies saying they do not have my insurance details. So I contacted Endsleigh and asked them why they hadn't sorted it out. They said they were. Weeks later I got 2 more letters from the third party insurers asking for my insurance details. Fed up of waiting for Ends ...

    Endsleigh Car Insurance are very slow to respond. Refund of deposit taken over 3 weeks to come, and I am still waiting, and have yet to see my money back. People very unknowledgable and they misinformed me. Unprofessional and inflexible in meeting customer needs.
