“Avoid at all costs!!!! ”

Avoid this company at all costs. We have paid out twice what the yearly premium was due to their "Admin Charges". 1 DD bounced and they charged us over £100 in fees and cancelled policy, which was only £213 for the year. Paid initial deposit with debit card and then changed bank accounts and monthly payments were coming out of another account. If you're a student looking for car insurance this is perfect! Endsleigh has always beat competitors by hundreds of pounds for me. Their customer service is excellent and their renewal price is actual cheaper than comparisons! As ive always had my renewal a around 300 pounds more expensive with other companies. started my policy in October 2014 - started getting loads of documents through telling me i had to set up my "finance" - erm what finance. Extremely confused as to why a company was emailing me asking me for my bank details, i had to call endsleigh to check it was genuine. They explained they use an external company to manage monthly payments. this insurance firm use a company called tcs claim handlers, who use g4s to investigate your claim if your vehicle gets stolen, i had my vw camper van stolen a few months ago, and i have had nothing but pure stress ever since, they acuse you of fraud as soon as you ring them up, they make appointments to see you and dont turn up, they go to your local pub and tell total strangers your buisness, they lose your vehicle documents, and then ask you why you have not sent them, i have now instructed… Read Full Review

“Snakes the lot of them”

having had to claim with Endsleigh, i can say they are the biggest snakes i have ever met, their communication is awful. they will try anything they can to not give you money your entitled to by delaying your claim as much as humanly possible. and they will try anything to get month off you. they do not care about customer satisfaction. they claim to be for students and young drivers only so they can prey on the inexperianced. “charge you for everything ”

Worst possible insurance I've ever had. I've had a vauxhall corsa 1.2 petrol. Unfortunately someone broke into it and ruined immobiliser and steering column. When I spoke to the endsleigh customer service they said excess is £500 for that. I've decided to get it fixed privately and sold it. I insured my car and paid £1,500 for one year in one go in January, I got a new car in April and had to pay another £65 to change the car on the policy, since then I was pulled by the police 3 times from July to September as my car was coming up as uninsured. “Ignored by Endsleigh”

Endsleigh Motor Insurance have completely ignored my requests to retain my car after an accident despite my written requests. They sent my car to a salvage /repair company Innovation. Innovation said that they would be reporting to Endsleigh that my car was uneconomical to repair. Lowest price on the market. i called them for a new windscreen and they refered me to AA in no time. I only had to pay £75. I never made a claim so I don't know what are they like. like the majority of people who have already had this problem, I also cancelled my policy because my car had developed a fault and was beyond repair. Same here, tried to cancel policy with only 3 months remaining and told it would cost me £92 - more than remaining direct debits!

Don't use Endsleigh Insurance I've just cancelled my car insurance policy with them and I must say they are one of the worse companies I have ever had to deal with. “Terrible ”

Had insurance for 6 weeks, changed from an older Mini Cooper to vauxhall astra. Therefore insurance should have been straight forward to change. They told us that the company we has used was not able to ensure more expensive cars as our mini was worth under £5,000 and astra £9,100. They proceeded to tell us we would have to cancel. “Absolutely no use when in need of their help”

My car was broken in to on a short break in Lille. Although my cover is fully comprehensive, including use in Europe, they gave me no help whatsoever. The rear window of my estate car had been smashed and several items removed. Endsleigh could not give any help in getting the glass replaced. Remember that the car would now be insecure. Hi Hall262,

Sounds like your experience with Endsleigh hasn't been particularly great. I've noticed the reason for going with them was down to them being the cheapest provider.

From looking online myself, I've seen Endsleigh coming up cheapest before, however, after speaking to them over the telephone about the policy being provided, I was less than pleased.

My advice to you for your renewal is to make a list of the benefits that are most important to you regarding car insurance and then ring up insurance company's so you can do a quotation and also ask questions about the benefits provided so you have a clearer understanding of the policy being sold to you.

Most of the insurance companies online will not care too much about telling you about the terms of each benefit, because unless you ask, they don't have to tell you. This reflects on the Sales team, their primary goal is to get your card number from you and set up the policy.

Regulations set by the Financial Conduct Authority make sure that customers are being looked after and insurance company's are treating you fairly, but they don't have to say anything unless you ask, so as far as you're concerned, you may be getting an absolutely fantastic price, with what seems like great benefits, when actually you're getting a price that reflects the quality of the product.

Would you buy Richmond sausages over Supermarket own brand? The majority of the time you get what you pay for. Use the phone not the internet.

This company are the insurance version of the Ebola virus. Absolutely disgraceful attitude by all the member of staff i spoke to on the phone . “Complete rip off service!!”

Took out Eindsleigh car insurance 6 weeks ago.Paid £225. Sold our car yesterday. As we do not have another to move the insurance to Eindsleigh cancelled our policy and are refunding just £59!!! “Constantly Lying!”

“Can't be trusted”

My Endsleigh policy was coming up for renewal and I wanted to shop around to check that the price wsa OK. When I checked the renewal documents, there was no mention of how many years no claims discount I have. So I called them, only to be told they wouldn't send it unless I cancelled my policy before the renewal or waited for it to expire (giving me no time to shop around).
