Worst experience I've ever had with an insurance broker. I had purchased the car insurance policy online but decided to cancel several hours later after finding a more suitable policy. I called to explain the situation. Customer service advisor was unsympathetic and just told me there would be a £25 admin. fee. I phoned to query my renewal quote and alter personal details. However, after long waiting times and numerous attempts to call, I gave up. I emailed the complaints department asking why no-one was answering calls, or even acknowledging that I was in a 'queue', but also got no response from them. Used these guys as they were indeed very cheap for my house insurance. My call was handles by KB6. The call centre is very noisy and had trouble hearing all the questions & oddly I was advised that my previous NCB that was protected with my previous company was invalid as I had made a claim on it. (Surely that's the idea of having it protected?). However as I say it was cheap. Made a big mistake this year when obtaining van insurance from these jokers. Just made a minor policy change which in its self didn't increase the premium but was charged £55 as a service charge. Brokers such as this that use any excuse to charge service charges that are disproportionate to the work involved are immoral and should be avoided at all cost. Despite a long wait on the phone (not the operators fault - just a busy period) I was able to insure my new car immediately with operator RA2. Even before we'd finished talking, my updated policy document & insurance certificate were in my inbox. Difficult to get through to on the phone over 20 minutes waiting!!! but once through professionally dealt with by KM3. I personally dislike one call's way of automatic renewal policy which means you have to ring them in order to stop a renewal payment being made. As with every insurance company their renewal quote is expensive so it pays to shop around and do your homework to improve the price quoted… Read Full Review
