Good Points: Weird Science is packed with loads of laughs, a great cast, and it is basically a real hoot.

Bad Points: Apart from being compelled to watch it over and over again, which will infuriate your lass, I can't really think of any bad points.

General comments: Released in 1985 out of the successful John Hughes stable, Weird Science is a definite must see film, and indeed a complete bonus. Although more than 21 years since it's release, myself, my brothers and buddies still quote lines from the movie to each other.

The film depicts the story of the quest of two geeks who crave social acceptance from their peers. Frustrated in their attempts, they decide to create a woman on their computer, and boy do they get more than they bargained for!! The rest of the film is basically the story of how they attempt to overcome obstacles which are thrown their way, as they set out to prove they are cool guys who deserve girlfriends.

I would recommend this to anyone. It is full of laughs, and it is packed with catchphrases with can be repeated over and over again by you and your mates. "He won't you know, he doesn't stand for baloney." Check out Kelly LeBrock in her gym gear right at the end of the film. Mint.
