We picked up our car with no fuss. Super reliable small car, drove from Heraklion to falasarna with a few detours and put 60euro in the tank leaving the car back with plenty more than we picked up with. We decided to put an extra stop in on the way home and asked anna cars if it was ok to drop the car back a little later than originally agreed apon(3hrs) and they agreed that this was no problem at all and at no extra cost which we were super happy with and also surprised considering there is no other car rental company i have ever experienced this with. This company are honest, kind and no sham based. Highly recommended. If u want an easy ride easy calm start to your holidays then book with these guys. They helped make our trip a truly enjoyable one. Thank u Anna Cars.

We have used Anna's cars twice. Last time in April 23. They delivered the car to Heraklion seaport and we left it back at Chania airport. We found Anna's cars to be very professional and friendly. A representative who delivered the car to Heraklion port was a really friendly and professional fellow. He patiently showed us how the car operated and the car was in great condition. We are delighted with the service,

3rd time of renting with Anna Cars Chania. Kostas is very good with communication and each time the car requested has been delivered and arrived clean and with enough fuel. Cars have been close to new and the "all in" insurance is a great comfort. Well done and I look forward to doing business with you again in our next Crete trip.

We had a VW Up for a week in June this year and although it was new with only 12k on the clock - on the way back to the airport to catch our flight home the clutch went on it. As we only have one flight a week back to our city we were worried. When we rang Anna Cars - they said they were surprised it had broken down and interrogated my husband regarding any warning lights on the dash and implied it was his fault. They then said they could not get to us in time and that we would need to organise a taxi ourselves to get us back to the airport. Luckily there was a taxi company very close by - but as they had to rearrange other customers, it was a tense ride back to the airport at a cost of 80 euros - Anna Cars refunded us 40 euros saying that we had the car for a week. However we hired a car to give us the freedom to not rely on taxis, in addition although we do not think it is Anna Cars fault that the car broke down they should consider whether a car designed for city driving is suitable for the terrain in Crete! We certainly did not expect to have to organise our own transport to get us to the airport and to pick up the cost ourselves. Be warned they are not the best car hire company to use. My son used Best Cars who are much better.

This firm charged us 25Euro for an out of date Sat Nav which they then programmed with the wrong hotel and sent us to the other side of the island. It took us 4 1/2 hours to reach our hotel at night on unfamiliar roads. When we complained they said there was nothing the could do!

Great experience, booked on line. Prompt email communication. Had a band C, Hyundai i20 5 door for 9days. Brand new 2017 with just 8K on the clock. 240 euros, cash preferred which I did, but you can use a card. Cash easier & no card details to worry about. All insurances covered, fully comp & 3rd parts, accidents, tyres, everything & NO add on gimmicks. 2nd driver at no extra cost, NO deposit required either, where deductions are so often made without consent after you return the car! We were met at arrivals & our bags taken by a very friendly Anna Cars rep. Their car pick up & drop off is just 50 meters away. Just needed drivers license & passport. Shown all the info on the car & directions to our destination, map provided, drop off explained & we were off on our holls:) Car drove perfectly, very happy, highly recommend & will definitely use again. Thank you Anna Cars. 

Courtesy and consideration proved to be the distinguishing characteristic of this firm - Anna Cars. Once our rental needs had been ascertained, they were met with prompt treatment to our entire satisfaction. The hiring process on line was simple, quick and trouble free, especially important for a pensioner with limited IT skills. We were not troubled by any requests to top up the perfectly adequate insurance cover provided (but see below) and the total amount payable was clear from the outset: it was not even necessary to pay a deposit to secure the car. Once my desire to avoid night driving in an unknown car on strange roads in or near Heraklion had been expressed, it was met by an offer in impeccable English to deliver the car to our overnight hotel in the city free of any extra charge. The car, the model chosen on booking, almost new and in excellent condition was duly delivered the following day, to be returned to the airport on our departure to a desk within easy walking reach of the departure building. The paper work was completed in a most friendly manner by the employee delivering the vehicle, and all necessary information was provided including the fact that the insurance did not cover the underneath of the vehicle - not a problem as we take out insurance annually at minimum cost to cover the excesses usually offered by car hire companies.The state of some roads in Crete argue in favour of this practice.On return, the car was simply left at the Anna car park and the key left in a box.A hassle-free and enjoyable experience. I will rent from Anna again on Crete, by far the best of the three companies used to date.

We had opted for a Fiat Panda but in the event were given a 5-door manual VW Up!, which was quite nippy and plenty big enough for the 2 of us and our luggage. Immaculate, very low mileage, and the rep was waiting for us in the arrivals hall as promised. We had emailed our scanned licences in advance, so were on the road within minutes. We had hired the car for 2 weeks but, due to illness/hospitalisation, were not able to fly home as planned. Anna Cars were happy to extend our rental for a further 2 weeks and, when we eventually arrived back at the airport, their rep was extremely helpful in taking us to the wheelchair assistance point and organising things there for us. We cannot speak highly enough of this company, which we chose because of reviews we had read. If we return to Crete, we will definitely use them again. Oh, and their fuel policy is honest - "the tank is full, please return it full".

We've already rented 4 vehicles from Anna Cars (quad+car) and all of them were clean, well looked after and perfectly maintained. The operators at the branch in Anissaras have been very friendly, helpful and even spoke German. Hans gave us some great recommendations for sight seeing spots. The renting process itself is easy and unbureaucratic. We can definitely recommend Anna Cars and would rent a car at any time again.

I just came back from my holidays in Crete. I have visited the island nearly 10 times and the last three times I rented a car from Anna Cars. Always friendly staff, cars are new and very clean, car park just opposite arrival building. We hired a small red VW Up. Car was perfect for our needs, very economy in fuel and drove us all around the island. I only have to thank AnnaCars and it's stuff for the attention they offer to their clients. Good job Anna, keep doing your best as you are really the best.

I can't confirm good opinion about Anna cars. I have just picked up my car and I am very disappointed. First of all, I agreed with sales that car will be delivered directly to the airport terminal without any transfer needed. However, I have been asked to go by shuttle bus to the near parking to pick up the car. When I started complaining, employee called to the "manager" who was very rude and said that he "will not give me the car at all" (!!!). Employee on site ignored this (good & bad cop?) and he gave me the car, however some other things like model year (2016 promised) and equipment also didn't match with the sales offer. Also car is not in perfect condition. Engine and transmission make some strange noises. I regret that I went with Anna cars with much more expensive offer based on their perfect reviews. They are not different than their cheaper competitions and not worthy to pay them more.

My Wife and I have hired cars from Anna Cars over the past few years, we have always found the service to be very good and without hidden fee`s. This year we hired a car to collect at Chania airport and when sitting on the runway waiting to take off from Bristol, I realised that I had left my driving licence at home. I quickly txt my daughter to contact Anna Cars. By the time we arrived in Chania everything had been taken care of by email between Kostas and my Daughter, the car was waitning for me and nothing was too much trouble. A huge thank you to the team.

We have hired a car from Anna Cars many times, we have always been met at the airport by their staff and the cars have always been the same cars that we had requested. Never had any problems and they are always very helpful, during both booking (which I always do via email) or on collection of the vehicle. Any questions are always answered. Child seats/roof racks were supplied free of charge when required. We would not hesitate to recommend Anna Cars to anyone.

We rented three cars for 5 days; cars were delivered to the port at Heraklion and dropped off at the airport in Chania. The cars were in good condition. The fuel level in one of the cars was at empty when it was delivered. NOT a good idea! Would definitely rent from them again.
