Me and my family visited Scott's farm on august bank holiday 09 because the site we had planed to go to was full.when we arrived at Scott's farm we were pleasantly welcomed by their friendly staff.we had to pay a minimum off three nights as it was the bank holiday(but refunds were given if we left any earlier then three night)The prices were very reasonable as it only cost me my wife and five children £20 pounds a night. When we entered the site we were amazed at how big the site was with lots off space to pitch and for the kids to ran around ,you can pick your own pitch so you can be as close or as far away from the showers as you want. The facilities were cleaned regular between different blocks so you can have a shower any time and also they have a massive play area which the kids loved. After the three nights we decided to stay one more to our kids delight. So overall we are clad we found this site,we will be definitely coming back

MMMmmmm not quite sure where to start with Scotts Farm!!!!!Toilet and shower blocks .... always dirty... not enough hooks on back of the doors to hang your belongings on so they fall on to the disgusting floor ...no soap or anti bacterial hand gel for people using the toilets only... which at the moment is a major issue with the swine flue problem we have in the country .The very poorly lit entrance to the camp site for people walking back in the dark ( one of our party tripped over uneaven poor ...- Read paula27's review (151 words)

Scotts Farm - what a horrible place to visit! unhelpful and intimidating staff, pitch black everywhere, toilet blocks seemed to be closed for cleaning constantly but were always filthy, It was a quite a good game actually, trying to dodge the human remains all over the floor!! Cold showers and only one pathetic hook in the shower cubicles if it hadn't been snapped off that is! No soap by the sinks! Very supprising considering all of this swine flu thats going around! We wil never ever visit this ...- Read Guest's review (90 words)

not impressed with the Scotts Farm camp site at all !!
The toilets and showers were discusting dirty and always soaking wet.
As for the management they were rude, abnoxious and very happy to swear and shout at children !!!! As we were in a party with several children we found this very worrying and actually left earlier than we should have.
we would never return there and certainly not recommend it to anyone especially if children were involved.

My boyfriends family have been camping at scotts farms for many years and so I was really looking forward to my first camping experience. This weekend 4 of us turned up (2 couples) and were told that we were not welcome because we were in a group and we might "talk to eachother".
The reception area was very busy and the staff really didn't seem to be coping at all well - they didn't really know what they were doing and there were a lot of very unhappy people in the area being given very differ ...- Read Guest's review (324 words)

I will definitely not be recommending any of my friends to Scotts Farm Camp Site. The Manager was very rude, he swore and was very intimidating towards my son and his friends over an incident with the drinks machine. That is not acceptable. We were all then asked to leave, cutting short our bank holiday break.
Also, there are no soap dispensers in the toilets. With the swine flu going around at the moment i just could not believe this.
Along the pathway leading up to Scotts Farm there is ...- Read Guest's review (131 words)

Just back from a weekend at Scotts Farm Camping in the Witterings, and it was a nightmare. Dog muck everywhere, AND NO-ONE CLEARING IT UP, dirty (and often blocked) toilets and the showers were dirty with a basic trickle of water. No soap in the toilets (despite the issues with swine flu!) and staff who think nothing about swearing at kids. Not a good experience at all.
The location is good, but the place is definitely going downhill as this was our second trip - the first being great - but ...- Read Guest's review (160 words)

not happy at all with Scotts farm the owners are very unhelpful, , because we travelled in a old splitscreen campervan with two children, but we would have been camping in our tent, as i had explained to the owner, as we cannot all squeeze into the van anymore, we were told we had to pay an extra £20 on top of our £24 just because we had a "campervan" and not a car!!! the owner was very very unhelpful, and after a very unhelpful discussion and very upset kids we were told to leave ! ...- Read Guest's review (94 words)

Me and my partner were meeting my brother and their wife at the west wittering camping ground. They were travelling from far away to camp for the weekend with us. On arrival we wanted to book for the four of us. The manage was extremely rude. We were unable to book as a group and told us to leave his farm. He was very argumentative.
I will not recomment this camping site. The grounds is fairly nice and close to the sea but the management is not very friendly and extremely bias. BE AWARE- Read Guest's review (94 words)

As with many of the other reviewers, I was cross-examined at reception about who I was with and who I was meeting. I was with my 3-year-old son and a friend, and was meeting four other friends all with kids aged 3-10. Because of the immediate attitude I only revealed that I was meeting my brother and his 2 kids. He eventually let me in, as if he was doing me some great favour! I have no doubt that if he knew the real size of our group we would have been turned away and my boy's weekend would hav ...- Read Guest's review (156 words)

We had been regulars at Scotts Farm for over 5 years and introducing friends as well. On average we would visit 8/9 times a year. However, this weekend we were charged for a visitors car that in fact had already been paid, it was only a minimal charge but the customer service was appaling. My husband and our friends who were with us are all serving HM Forces personnel so not the kind of people who would start arguments. When we managed to prove we had in fact been overcharge, not an apology ...- Read Guest's review (128 words)

I would not recomend anyone to go to scotts farm, the bathrooms are so dirty toilets are so dark and everything is wet in there, dogs running around barking pooing every where. And the people who was running it three men, was really rude to us, there was this south african man who spoke very poorly infront of young children.- Read Voice's review (75 words)

Scotts Farm is the council flat of campsites. Thousands of people using one toilet/shower facility. not very quite even though it does not take groups. The manager can also be quite rude to people and not very helpful. I would not stay here again even if all other campsites in the area are full.- Read Guest's review (97 words)

Absolutely disgusted with the attitude of the owner on this site. My partner and I drove all the way from London to spend two nights with our friend and his wife who had already been there for 1 night for his 30th birthday. When at Scotts Farm reception we were rudely told that no groups at all were allowed at all!! I tried to politely reason with the chap but was abruptly cut short. We decided to go home but later in the day another two of our friends arrived and managed to get entrance, but wi ...- Read stickpick's review (177 words)

I also found the staff at Scotts Farm to be considerabley rude and discriminatory. They went out of their way to be as unco-operative as possible and offered significantly poor services and facilities given the high prices. The site is advertised as welcoming and child and family-friendly however ther manager (with no management skills) hates children, so don't bother going unless you are collecting your pension. The site was not very well kept, the only good thing about besides leaving, was its ...- Read Guest's review (109 words)
