General comments: LG has private subcractor to do servicing I have had toplace 2 service calls on this machine the first one I had to wait 2 weeks for the part. Placed a service call last week on this machine again waite din for technician to arrive rang service agent late in the afternoon to find out where technician was. They advised me that the technician advised them that parts were needed no phone call made to advise me that technician would not be arriving to meet the booked service call. Service agent told me that parts were needed and that they would take between 2 to 5 days this sort of service is just not good enough for something that is under warranty the agent should hold some sort of van stock for their technican for machines that are still under warranty one this machine is out of warranty I will replace it but I will make sure that the Service agent that serviced this brand has nothing to do with the one that I buy.Try to compalin to LG about their Service Agent and they don't want to know about it, When I spoke to LG I advised them that they should take it on board as they are the manufacture of the aplliance and when you purchase an item you really don't want to be talking to Service agents you really like to speak to the supplier of this item

Overall, the unit is quite well constructed. It's quiet to operate, and it does the job it was designed for well.

The LG WD1435RD washer dryer is a nice looking machine. It's large capacity can handle a larger families wash load easily. It's fairly compact in regards to foot-print (floor space used) and saves having to have a separate dryer. The dryer is a Condenser type dryer, which means it does not release hot, humid air into the room when it is running. The dryer can be used on it's ...

The LG WD1435RD washer dryer is nice looking, but it needs to cycle much faster. It can take up to 2 l/2 hours to wash 7kg and dry 4kg of clothing. It really does give new meaning to the words "wash day" as you spend all day washing. Don't waste your money on this one.
