Very good service. Insure and Go Travel Insurance quote was easy to get (I liked that I didn't have to enter all my details before a price comes up). Policy documents came through in just a few days.

This is a very bad company for paying out genuine claims, my husband and myself have just lost £2000 because i became ill the day before we departed, not a serious illness just nasty winter vomiting bug, but nevertheless unable to travel, they would not pay out because I did not see a Doctor that day even though I contacted my GP out of hours service (on Sunday), they just advised me to take plenty of fluids. How do you take on a company such as this, I advise you all to avoid Insure and G ...

People might be happy with Insure and Go when they take out the policy but they wont be so happy when they try to make a claim. I put a claim in for my missing camera in February and they are still trying to get out of paying for it, by asking for more and more information. I have sent them everything they have asked for and they still are still messing me about.
The call centre staff are unprofessional, rude and patronising. I can only assume that they are used to dealing with complaints all d ...

Never bought travel insurance before so I was a bit of a newcomer! I started a quote on their web-site, which was VERY easy to use, but I needed to call up as I suffer from asthma.I spoke to a lovely young woman and she asked me some medical questions. She was very helpful and friendly and not at all robotic. Turns out they could cover my asthma as standard which was great news!I've not had to claim yet but everyone I've spoken to at Insureandgo was friendly and efficient.Just a brilliant servic ...

I purchased Insureandgo annual travel insurance to provide cover for a couple of trips I had planned. I am one of those diligent people who always read the policy summary at the minimum before purchasing insurance, so I thought I had bought adequate cover, especially since I purchased their 'black' level. While on a trip, I had my backpack stolen, including clothes and my prescription glasses. Since I have very poor eyesight and few pairs of contacts left, I had no choice but to either purchase ...

Don't expect insure and go travel to pay up first time even for something serious eg cancer. After much nagging and letters from my doctor I got £47 out of the £350 I claimed for. I also received a renewal letter - where's my shredder!

I had an accident while skiing in Austria, which resulted in the need for emergency surgery. Insure and Go have an exclusion in their policy which states that they will only pay for surgery that their doctor deems essential, which left me very worried as my injury was serious and I was unable to stand up, never mind walk! I went ahead with the surgery and hoped they'd pay. After 7 weeks, they have agreed to pay the cost of my treatment and also the medically related travel expenses. I wouldn't u ...

They are truely incompetent. My father had a heart attack in New Zealand while I was travelling in India. I had to cut short my trip and fly to New Zealand to be with him while he had a double by-pass operation. I rang Insure and Go from India to see if I was covered.I got what they call an Assistance company that informed me that I would be covered up to £500 pounds which is a small amount while trying to get from India to New Zealand.
So I booked a cheap ticket that was a lot longer in ...

Insure and Go like all insurance companies need to be diligent and exact in the information and proof given to them when you make a claim. Unfortunately there are so many people trying to fiddle that it makes it more difficult for honest people to make their claim. We were robbed whilst on holiday in Malaga, Spain. We had to give a detailed description of what happened along with a police report, all receipts of goods stolen, proof of money obtained after the robbery (all our money was stolen ...

Booked a weekend in Paris Jan 08 and took out annual cover with InsureandGo. Sadly my brother was diagnosed with a brain tumour in June 08 with prognosis of up to 2 years so we didn't cancel our trip so see how things went. My brother declined rapidly over 5 months and we cancelled the trip a week before the doctors advise he only had a few days left. InsureandGo told me that we were covered - no problem. We were refunded the deposit only and told that we should have cancelled our trip as soon a ...

Insure and Go - (yeah and don't come back) - Don't worry I won'tI will be flying at least 6 times this year with business. Everytime in the past I have insured myself with Insure and Go for my business travel insurance and each time I fly for personal travel I insure myself with Journeywise. I claimed once with Journeywise having used them for the last 10 years. The one time I claimed for a delayed flight they paid to cover my expenses without any questions asked.I recently had my purse stolen o ...

I had to claim money for travel cancellation due to pregnancy. I had a talk with their customer service who provided me a claim number. Filled up their form, and got my money within couple of weeks. No questions asked.Piece of advice: Read the policy documents and fill up the claim form very very carefully. Supply them with the proper documents. If your claim is valid (as per Insure and Go's policy), I am sure they will provide you the money.

Cheap, but you really do get what you pay for!
Terrible support from the Insure and Go Travel Insurance team, one person tells you one thing and someone else tells you another. I had my handbag stolen on holiday and I was told the excess of £60 I would need to pay would not cover the cost of my bag, but they failed to take into account the contents on the bag and police report! Also the bag alone cost me over £60 which I send a receipt as evidence for and still nothing! They haven't ...

I had a run of bad luck on a recent trip but I didn't worry or let it ruin my holiday since I had insurance & thats why you buy it right? wrong.
I've had nothing but trouble from them & I'm still fighting.
My camera & glasses got damaged while away due to a bag being knocked & stamped on. They did not cover either of these items.
My purse was also stolen with my hotel room key, passport, money, drivers license, all other forms of i.d, money...etc etc. I still to this day have not received a pen ...

I suppose it was our fault for not checking the small print, but we missed a flight from Athens due to a (separate and independently booked) flight on a different carrier being cancelled due to technical reasons. Stranded on a Greek island - not as nice as it sounds unfortunately! We were not covered (domestic flights not being considered public transport). The person on the phone was not sympathetic to our plight, merely stating, 'sorry sir you're not covered!'. Looking at the other reviews we'd ...

I lost a filling while on holiday in England and was faced with a costly private treatment, so I phoned to ask if I was covered, and was called back to say, yes go ahead with the treatment.
On return from holiday, I requested a claim form by email and was sent an overseas travel claim form. I emailed back asking if this was correct and got an acknowledgement but no reply.
I went ahead and filled in the form, and sent it off registered post as requested. I was eventually told that they did not pa ...

I do not recommend them. Cover level on my policy was very poorSmall print means lots of things arent properly covered - almost everything is a "valuable" meaning you get a max of £100 in totalClaims department required a lot of evidence, so much so that it is a major work to make a claim.

Insure and Go travel insurance have been very good up to present! Took out a 1 year world wide Platinum cover...
4 weeks before our first Holiday the wife had to have an operation and we had to cancel. There were a lot of forms to fill in, but the cost was paid out in full.
Rang up to see if we were still covered on the insurance and was told yes!
