Good Points: A beautiful little guest house.

Bad Points: We had to leave!

General comments: We stayed at the Craiglands House Hotel in Llandudno for 2 nights last month while we were taking skiing lessons at the nearby dry slope, and I can't tell you how great our stay was!

The bed and breakfast itself is only small (I counted 6 rooms), but all of the bedrooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. Some even have four poster beds. Every morning we were treated to a lovely home cooked English breakfast which set us up for a long day of skiing (well, if I'm being honest I spent most of the time on the floor).

Llandudno itself is a nice little town with a great promenade. We were lucky enough to visit during the heat wave, so we made good use of the beach, but I'm sure it would have been just as nice if it was raining. There are a good selection of local restaurants catering to many different tastes, and having Great Orm and Snowdonia on your doorstep makes it easy to walk off any over indulgences from the meal the evening before.

To sum up, this is a great little guest house, and the owners made us very welcome. I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a nice quiet stay in North Wales, and we will be visiting again as soon as possible.
