The traditional Margarita contains:
You should put the tequila, triple sec lime juice and sour mix into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake to combine. Take your cocktail glass (a martini glass works well) and salt the rim (or use sugar for a sweet version). Pour the contents of the shaker into the glass, add the lime wedge and enjoy!

The traditional margarita consists of tequila, lime, triple sec and sours. You can get it frozen with sugar around the rim of the glass, or not, with salt around the rim of the glass. This is the perfect cocktail. It has a mix of sweet and sour, it tastes beautiful, and it has quite a kick. I often like to have one as the start to an evening in the summertime. If you have a creative bartender, often you can get different flavours of margarita such as strawberry, lemon, sour apple or even pineapple and caramel, all of which are nice. Tequila is generally a great mixer in cocktails as long as you don't overdo it, and if you like a good party drink that isn't too sweet, this is for you!
