    Good Points: Reflexology is a truly relaxing treatment. Allows for 'time-out' from everyday business and stress. Can rejuvenate the body and mind.


    Bad Points: Toxin build up can cause feelings of discomfort whilst the reflexes in the hands, feet or ears or being worked. Short term side effects may also be experienced during or after treatment. However, these should last no longer than 48 hours.


    General comments: Reflexology is a touch treatment that facilitates the body's own ability to heal itself by binging about homeostasis. An individual experience with uniquely individual results. Can take a course of approx 4-6 treatments before any significant difference is noticed.

    I have had reflexology twice now, the second treatment being better and more informative that the first.
    It is based on the fact that every section of your foot relates to somewhere else in the body and so if a certain part of your foot is sore to touch or has a grainy feel to it, that could indicate a problem elsewhere.
    I think that it must take quite a while to become a trained reflexologist as the different sections of your foot seem to be very close together.
