Let's start with the good and bad. Reflexology tends to promise the moon. They talk bout being able to diagnose through reflexive technique everything from diseases, to allergies, to which leg is longer than the other. They'll even use to prove the therapy they're using worked. So, it's exciting to see all the promise. I'd love for it to be true just like the next person. It just has some serious problems. I have had reflexology twice now, the second treatment being better and more informative that the first.
It is based on the fact that every section of your foot relates to somewhere else in the body and so if a certain part of your foot is sore to touch or has a grainy feel to it, that could indicate a problem elsewhere.
I think that it must take quite a while to become a trained reflexologist as the different sections of your foot seem to be very close together.
