I bought this Playstation 3 as a Christmas present for my parents, mostly for the bluray capabilities. The machine is wonderful and *fast.* It has a little heat problem, after being on for the length of a movie it is very warm to the touch. Somewhat scared my mother, but since then she has kept it standing upright rather than laying down. That seems to have enough heat dissipation to keep it cool for two hours or so, but after that you run into the same problem again. The internet browser has a few bugs, but it is really nice to have in the living room. We haven't bought any games for the machine yet, and probably wont until Metal Gear Solid 4 comes out. My parents do not play video games, and I do not live with them anymore so it is pretty much just a bluray player. And a very good one.

There aren't many games that last for the ages and never die. However, this classic RPG denies the norm, and will probably live on as a marvel of RPG history. A step up from the 2D graphics sent this Final Fantasy into the charts, and is what kept Final Fantasy alive. Despite the older, low polygon graphics, RPG fans should buy this when they next have a chance, and more so, Final Fantasy fans.

Final Fantasy 7 - This is by far one of my favorite Final Fantasy games. Three disks full of action-packed adventure and fun!! This is sooo fun!! Great missions and enemies and weapons and good characters. The only downside is that the graphics aren't sooo good and nothing is perfect and everything else is good so this game is really good.

Final Fantasy 7 at the time of release (October/November 1997 in UK) incorporated by far the best graphics ever seen in a computer game at the time.

By today's standard, the graphics are poor. But computer game graphics these days will be poor in a decades time.

Final Fantasy 12 is due for release in a couple of weeks. The graphics on that will certainly not be poor :)
