Good Points: Can attach to TFT & CRT Good picture in daylight Adjustable settings Headset
Bad Points: Night time viewing grainy Instructions too basic and incorrect Software download poor
General comments: The Logitech Quickcam Express was my first Webcam. With the exception of a grainy picture (despite low light adjustment) this is a fine webcam, and it comes with a micro headset and microphone.
The instructions are poor, and they would confuse someone new to computers. Following the instructions to the letter, the first software download hung, so I attached the camera, and my PC found the new hardware and then the wizard installed the software.
Features of the camera software include QuickCapture, so you can take a picture with your cam or record - ideal for monitoring the baby sitter! A button for MSN; A link to the Logitech website; Camera settings so you can adjust the camera features and a link to Theodora - this jumps to a different Logitech web page and does nothing.
To sum up, it is very good in daylight, but once you are in a shadow the picture is grainy. There may be better camera's, and there may be worse - this one is average, and if they could sort out the grainy picture and the software problem, it would be a great camera!
