This is my first proper skateboard deck and it rocks!! I got it for Christmas and withing a space of 20 mins i learnt 2 new tricks so i think it is awesome and i seriously recommend it. Only 1 problem there was a sticker on the deck and we took it off carefully but it ripped some paint off. (read more)

i bought this armour light deck today , before i had the whitey panda enjoi team deck and landed frequent heelfips on it today when getting on to my deck i double heel-flipped and got my verials good again , brillaint deck its the 7.6 red and blue one and its a definate recomendation for anyone , to go with this i reccomed the tensor magnesiums which i bought with it so light its unbileiveable (read more)

ive tried birdhouses ive tired almost impact v3s ive tried balck labels and elements this darkstar armour light blows the hell out of all of them more pop the pop lasts forever concave is great it is amazing for flip tricks easy to get used to and its unbreakable i skate every day for as long as possible and i have used this non stop for 3 months its the best board by far ive ever used the tail dosent chip or wear that badly its very sturdy but at first it feels weak but i give it a 10 out... You have to be crazy not to buy the only people that have a reason to buy are if your sponsored buy another company. This skate board is amazing it never snaps under vertical pressure unless it is 2 years old or your a pro and that your job to skate 24/7. The bad points below are only factors after alot of use. Well, for all of you looking into darkstar's listen up. Mine, I skated a TON, and mine lasted half of a year and maybe longer if my friend didnt smash it as much. Another thing, they have great pop and the have a good ability for flips. I actually learned to tre flip on my darkstar. The armor lights are my choice b/c they are almost impossible to snap. In general, this board is very good with exellent pop and spins. I recommend this board greatly for the experienced skater. (read more)

I say that there is nothing wrong with darkstars people just don't get them because there not all pretty. Darkstar is awsome because they have graet durability and are liht to. I've had my darkstar 6 months and the concave has not worne down yet. I give Darkstars a 9 out of ten beecause there is only one thing wrong with it's durability and that would be the tail, often on darkstars the tail will begin to wear away in layers but i've seen worse (zero, flip, element). I bought a jart board then an armor light, then a helium light, then I went broke and had to buy a blind (they suck compared to armor lights) and then from that day forth I swore to use armor lights for the rest of my life....or helium lights if my skateshop sells them again.
This is my own opinion about them so please don't annoy me if I don't think the same way you guys (girls) do.

This board is strong as hell and is so light and better than any other I have tried. I have had enjoy, kryptonic, and zoo york. This one is by far the best. It is very comfortable and easy for flip tricks. The concave is great and easy to get used to buy this deck. (read more)

Personally i think the armour lights are terrible peices. ive had two. the first i broke in 13 days and had to pay almost $40 to send it back to california darkstar head office. and a few weeks later, when i finally got a new deck, it was different than the one i sent in. the shape and concave were not what i had bought in store. not to mention only 2 days after putting my new deck into my assembly, the deck once again delaminates while doing nothing which any other board would'nt take. now im stuck with no more warranty and a poor, falling apart board.
