    Good Points: The renovated chambers where good enough for a 4 star hotel. But be carefull. Not all the rooms are renovated. Some are still very old.


    Bad Points: The food was not according to a 4 star hotel en rather cheap (as possible) and without fantasy
    The management is not sharp enough on what is going on.


    General comments: The Hotel Astoria food was not good enough. Probably because there are working a lot of Slovenian kitchen staff members.
    A few points, One night the main cours was between spaghetti or a fried cordon bleu The next night we got simple grapefruit as starter. The day before, the dessert was not only very simple but also too early prepared and dried out. Etc, etc.
    The bar closes sometimes at 22.00 hours when the staff want to go home.
    When you are still eating the staff is changing the table clothes from the tables who are done eating, preparing before the next day. We experienced not a very warm family atmosphere.
